"Gale Force Deathblow"
The blue tornado lifted Gyutaro and Daki into the air. The powerful, torrential winds rendered them immobile, making even breathing incredibly difficult.
Below the tornado, Aoki, the originator of the technique, remained unaffected, standing calmly.
However, due to the immense energy expenditure, he was leaning heavily on his sword, gasping for breath, his exhaustion evident.
He didn't relax, though. After catching his breath, he began to prepare his ultimate technique.
"Wind Style Swordsmanship: Secret Technique! Gale Force Deathblow!"
The moment the name left his lips, the air seemed to freeze, even the blue tornado ceasing its movement.
This stillness lasted for about three breaths before Aoki shot forward, appearing instantly behind Gyutaro and Daki.
He swung his blade. This seemingly foolish strike against empty air violently tore the blue tornado in half.
Aoki reappeared on the other side, delivering another blow, splitting the tornado again.
With each strike, he reappeared in a different location, repeating the process.
In a fraction of a second, Aoki unleashed over a dozen strikes, too fast for anyone—including Gyutaro and Daki—to follow.
His final strike found him above the remnants of the tornado, which he had reduced to scattered fragments of blue energy suspended in mid-air.
He raised his Nichirin Blade high.
In an instant, the blade was enveloped in a terrifying storm of energy, forming a new, colossal blade over a hundred meters long. From afar, it resembled a blade only a giant could wield.
Then, before the horrified eyes of Gyutaro and Daki, the massive blade descended upon them, like a descending deity of destruction.
The blade struck the earth with earth-shattering force.
The world fell silent, a stillness that lasted for two breaths.
"BOOM!"
After two breaths, a deafening explosion erupted from the point of impact, the colossal blade of storm energy detonating.
An incredibly powerful blue storm raged outwards, engulfing a hundred-meter radius.
In the aftermath of the explosion, countless wind blades carved deep wounds into Gyutaro and Daki.
Though their powerful regeneration allowed them to heal instantly, two exceptionally powerful wind blades severed their necks, leaving wounds that refused to heal.
The storm raged for several minutes before gradually dissipating.
Tanjiro and the others, seemingly protected by Aoki's intention, were unharmed.
After several minutes, the storm completely subsided, leaving a hundred-meter radius reduced to utter devastation.
Aoki landed gracefully, immediately dropping to one knee, his Nichirin Blade supporting his weight.
Landing with him were Gyutaro and Daki's heads.
Their bodies, unable to regenerate, had been pulverized by the wind blades, vanishing with the storm.
Seeing only their heads, Aoki breathed a sigh of relief. His hypothesis had been proven correct.
Earlier, no matter how he attacked Gyutaro, he couldn't kill him, even risking his own life by getting too close.
Aoki had formulated a hypothesis.
Daki had stated that she and Gyutaro were one.
If a demon is considered an individual entity, severing that entity's head would kill it.
Gyutaro and Daki were a single entity. Severing one head wouldn't kill them, but severing their entire entity—both heads simultaneously—would kill the shared entity.
Aoki had risked his life to test this theory, and the results were overwhelmingly positive. His hypothesis was correct.
"Kentaro!"
Inosuke's shout echoed from afar. Turning his head with difficulty, Aoki saw Inosuke and Zenitsu running towards him.
Behind them were Tengen Uzui's three wives: Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru.
"What happened? The battlefield is… devastated," Hinatsuru exclaimed in astonishment.
"No way… what kind of enemy was this? Am I going to die?" Suma cowered behind Hinatsuru, her eyes filled with fear and tears.
"Don't be so pessimistic. Look around; it's all Demon Slayers. The demons are definitely dead," Hinatsuru said, pushing Suma away.
Then, they spotted Tengen Uzui lying amidst the ruins. He'd been struck by Gyutaro's poison-laced sickles.
Though his ninja physique allowed him to slow the poison's spread and resist its effects, he couldn't completely negate its damage.
He was pale, his breathing shallow and weak.
"Tengen-sama!"
The three women rushed to his side, but the sight of his poisoned state filled them with despair.
"Tengen-sama, don't die! Don't die!" Suma, always the most fragile, burst into tears. The others were also weeping silently.
"Why? We won… we defeated them… why is this happening?!"
