"Alright that just leaves you. Do you care to introduce yourself?" Koga Sensei Said as he pointed towards me.
"Yeah alright. My name is Yobei Kakoumi, I like hot blooded battles, and I don't like doing things I don't want to do, my goal is…" I paused for a second when I thought of my goal. I definitely had one in mind, but I wasn't sure how much I should tell them. "My goal is to defeat a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, and take his sword." That wasn't the entirety of my goals but it was a part of it. I was going to take back what belonged to me.
"Defeating someone on the level of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen is a fine goal, but one you'll need to train hard for." Koga Sensei said.
"He has eyes on one of the Seven Ninja swordsmen's blades, I'd wager he might even have some sort of vendetta against one of the members themselves. (I didn't) I think it must have to do with his clans origins in the Hidden Mist, maybe he feels one of those swords rightly belongs to him. (I did)" Koga Sensei thought.
"He seems to enjoy fighting, there's nothing wrong with that, but I just hope he doesn't take it too far. After all, though he's a few generations removed, the blood of the Blood Mist Village does still flow through his veins. It'll be worth keeping an eye on him, he could be troublesome."
"As for Saruki, he's fiercely loyal to the Hokage so I assume that he will follow orders without question. Though I do wonder if he's going to struggle when he's forced to think for himself. That being said he had the second highest scores on his class, in fact, he would have been number one if Neji Hyuga didn't exist. So overall, I have high hopes for him."
"As I suspected she's going to be the hardest to deal with, she has solid scores on basic ninjutsu, but it's clear that she doesn't have a talent for her clans techniques. Most of Akimichi clan members are genetically predisposed to be bigger bodied. This extra mass is crucial to mastering the Expansion Jutsu. For whatever reason, she just doesn't have the size to fully utilize her clans techniques, and now she's developed an inferiority complex. She still has the potential to contribute as a ninja, I just worry that she doesn't have the guts." He thought to himself.
"Anyway, now that we have introductions out of the way, let's get into the real reason that we're all here." Koga Sensei told us. He then went on to explain the bell test to us and informed us that whoever couldn't grab a bell would be sent back to the academy. Or something like that I'll be honest I wasn't paying too much attention.
As soon as he made the signal for the test to 6start, the other two went into the tree line to hide.
"They have good instincts, they instantly hid themselves pretty well. I just hope that they can use the time they bought themselves to come up with a good strategy." Koga Sensei thought. "Now what exactly are you expecting to do all by yourself? You-" He tried to say but as soon as he started the test I rushed him started throwing punches.
As we exchanged blows he was able to parry all of my blows, but I eventually started pushing him back. While I didn't get to keep my knowledge of the Niko Style from my previous life, but considering that I'd used it for years I could still use the techniques to a certain extent. It was clear from our exchanges that he was skilled in hand to hand combat. Though if I still had my full skill in the Niko Style I'd be able to beat him easily, at least in a hand to hand fight.
"This kid is ridiculously strong, but if I infuse chakra to enhance my physical abilities I can still overpower him. That being said it's impressive he's able to have such strength with only pure muscle power. In addition to that, he seems to be using some sort of strange martial arts. I guess he's not as impulsive as I thought. He really thinks that he has a chance of beating me. That being said, I need to show him the difference between a Genin and a Jonin." Koga Sensei thought.
I then found out why I had been able to push him back. He was drawing me close to the tree line where he had a trap set up. As I was rushing him with punches I activated a trap that sent a tree crashing down into me.
"I've got him now. He should be able to dodge that, and when he does it'll lead him into the flash bang tags I have setup. When he's disoriented I'll take him out and then move on to the other two. Speaking of which, why aren't either of them here? His all out blitz would have worked better if they tried to take advantage to use it as a distraction."
While Koga sensei was thinking about that, I had decided not to dodge the tree that was falling on me, but rather I caught it and chucked it back at him. Though I didn't have the strength to throw it with enough velocity to hit him.
"Eh? You've got to be kidding me! That wasn't a big tree but still, he shouldn't be able to just throw it around like that. Seriously, where does this kids strength come from?"
While I had countered his trap, doing so had exhausted me pretty severely. It was making to pretty easy for him to overpower me in the hand to hand fighting now and I was clearly in trouble and starting to get beat up.
"I could use the trump card I've been working on, but I don't think it's really ready yet. Worst case scenario, it might even kill me. But still I've got to think of something or I'm going to lose." I thought.
"Flame Kata: Flash Fire!!!!"
I began to flicker around him and throw some strikes. While it seemed to catch him off guard, I still wasn't able to land a hit. Since my striking wasn't proving to be effective I switched to a tackle and tried to catch him in a hold.
"Water Kata: Bind of Pisces!!!!!"
I then tried to get him in an armbar but he made some hand signs while I was grappling with him and threw me off. He threw me off him with such power a cloud of dust kicked up as I made contact with the ground. When I got up and brushed myself off I saw that his arm had become covered in fur and he now had long sharp claws.
