Chapter 7 - Chapter Four – Bonds and Banter

Two days after the assassination attempt on Padmé

The sun warmed the tranquil Jedi Enclave courtyard. Revan moved fluidly through his lightsaber forms, the familiar hum mingling with the soft chirping of birds. Watching him were Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti, their eyes bright with admiration and quiet affection.

Padmé stood nearby, serene but attentive, while Anakin lingered close to his mother, Shmi, who rested on a bench draped in a soft blanket. Shmi's recovery was progressing steadily, and her grateful eyes met Anakin's whenever he approached.

Revan sheathed his sabers and approached the group. "It feels different here now. Fuller. Stronger."

Aayla smiled warmly, stepping closer. "Because of all of us. We've become a family."

Shaak Ti nodded. "Together, we face whatever the galaxy throws our way."

Anakin's gaze flicked from Revan to Shmi, voice steady but heartfelt. "Thank you, Master Revan. For everything… especially bringing my mother here."

Shmi's smile was gentle, pride shining in her eyes. "You've grown so much, Anakin. Strong, kind… my son and a Jedi."

Padmé's hand found Shmi's, offering comfort. "You're not alone, Anakin. We're all here for you."

Anakin's eyes softened. "I know."

Elsewhere, Naruto and Ahsoka exchanged conspiratorial grins.

"Ready to make things interesting?" Naruto whispered, eyeing the training room.

Together, they swapped Revan's usual lightsabers for bright neon practice versions—orange and green blades that glowed comically in the daylight.

Later, when Revan entered, his raised eyebrow and smirk spoke volumes.

"Really?" he said with amused disbelief.

Naruto barely contained his laughter from behind a pillar. Ahsoka giggled beside him.

"We got you, Master Revan."

Revan shook his head, a rare chuckle escaping. "One day, you'll regret this."

Next, Naruto sneaked into the kitchen and replaced Shaak Ti's stew's cinnamon with extra spicy ground pods.

Shaak Ti took a tentative sip and suddenly her eyes widened as heat exploded across her tongue.

"You two are impossible," she said, but her smile betrayed her amusement.

That night, Naruto and Ahsoka sat side by side on a stone wall, watching the twin moons rise above the Enclave.

Naruto shifted nervously. "Sometimes I'm not sure if you think I'm too silly."

Ahsoka smiled gently. "I like your silliness. It makes life fun."

He breathed easier. "I really like being with you. More than just friends."

Her smile deepened. "Me too."

Naruto grinned and cracked a joke. "Why did the protocol droid cross the galaxy?"

Ahsoka laughed. "Why?"

"To get to the other side!"

Their laughter mingled under the stars, a quiet promise of something new blossoming.

Scene IV – Family Ties and Strength

Later, in the common room, Anakin sat beside Shmi, gently holding her hand.

"Mother, I train every day. I want to protect you, and everyone I care about."

Shmi's smile was tender and proud. "You already do, Anakin. I'm proud of the man you're becoming."

Padmé joined them, placing a reassuring hand on Anakin's shoulder. "We're here for you. You don't have to carry everything alone."

Anakin glanced toward Revan and his girlfriends, Aayla and Shaak Ti, nearby.

Revan's voice was calm but resolute. "Family and bonds like these are our greatest strength."

Shaak Ti nodded in agreement. "Together, we face anything."

Scene V – Revan's Reflection

In the quiet of his chambers, Revan shared a moment with Aayla and Shaak Ti.

"You both bring balance to my life in ways I never imagined."

Aayla took his hand. "And you give us purpose."

Shaak Ti smiled softly. "Together, we protect the future."

Revan's gaze softened. "Including the next generation. Naruto and Ahsoka remind me there is always hope."

Late at night, Revan caught sight of Naruto and Ahsoka sneaking down the hallway, a bucket of water poised above a doorway.

"Not again," Revan muttered, though a rare smile tugged at his lips.

Naruto grinned. "Come on, Master Revan, live a little."

Ahsoka laughed softly. "You can't be serious all the time."

Revan shook his head, heart lighter than it had been in years. "One day, I'll get you both back."

For now, the bonds of friendship, love, and family held strong under Dantooine's twin moons.
