Physical Description:
Size: Clydesdale Horse - L:450cm, H:180cm
Wyvern's can be a variety of colors. However, green, red, blue, brown, orange and yellow are the most common.
They lack front legs. But they have long tails, razor sharp fangs and talons.
Personality/Temperament:
Wyvern are friendly with most Earthfolk. They have been used as livestock guardians and are largely considered as domesticated if not a species with a symbiotic relationship.
Stats:
This species is considered highly intelligent. They are extraordinarily agile for their build.
This species has extraordinary stamina. They can fly for multiple days and nights without needing sleep. Switching between high burst like movements and stopping drastically is no problem for them.
Magical Capacity:
Capable of elemental magic and enhancement magic.
Notable Resistances:
Wyvern's naturally do not suffer from poison, nor can they be petrified.
Due to their coexistence with Earthfolk, Wyvern's have developed a strong will. This has notably impacted their ability to resist intimidation and being unwillingly aggroed.
Notable Weaknesses:
The Wyvern's heart is rather large and positioned in such a way that striking below the wing with a sharp weapon can cause their immediate death.
Due to their agile build they aren't as capable of taking powerful blunt hits as other scaled creatures.
Wyvern's have a strong distaste for frozen wastelands. It will not prove fatal to them, however it will make them lethargic and lazy.
Other:
Some adventurers and Wyvern Tamers have reported establishing a telepathic link with their Wyvern partners. This is largely considered to be attributed to the Adventurer's being capable of Wildspeak or having a natural affinity of beasts. However, this is simply a trait that Wyvern's have developed and when they choose their Bonded Earthfolk they can communicate with them in this way.
Dragon
Physical Description:
Size: Varies from Dragon to Dragon. Some are the size of a Wyvern while some are unfathomably large. It has been said the largest Dragon is the size of an entire cluster of planets.
Dragons come in a variety of colors. There is no rhyme or reason to how they are colored. Two parents can share a color and the children can all come out completely different.
Usually four legged, two wings, massive/beefy tail and terrifying claws/teeth.
Personality/Temperament:
A Dragons' temperament is as varied as its size. Some view all earthfolk as food, others as foes and some simply do not care. Earthfolk however consider Dragons to be one of the most if not the deadliest species to walk the Earth. An uneasy truce has been established between both sides.
Stats:
This species is considered highly intelligent.
In terms of raw power and magical prowess they are considered second to none among beasts.
They are capable of speech.
Magical Capacity:
They are capable of elemental magic as well as many other forms of magic.
Notable Resistances:
Dragons generally cannot be slain by non-chrominium weapons. Their scales are said to be as durable as military grade shields.
There are no recorded cases of Dragons perishing by curse, poison, petrification, freezing, burning or Mana Burn.
Notable Weaknesses:
Dragons are incredibly prideful and protective of their hoard. This has been weaponized against them in the past. While they are aware of this tactic, their egos will not allow them to avoid the "trap."
Other:
After a millennium of war with the Earthfolk Dragons have become recluse. While they were offered to coexist with the Earthfolk the Dragons deemed it below them and went into hiding. Occasionally a rogue Dragon will cause devastation to Earthfolk cities but the Earthfolk understand it's not indicative of the species as a whole.
Crowdell
Physical Description:
Size: Double Decker Bus L:5m,H:4m
Northern Crowdells are usually pitch black in color with red eyes. Occasionally an Alpha is born with snow white feathers and red eyes.
For all intents and purposes a Crowdell looks like an oversized Crow. The exceptions being the following: Tail is longer like a Golden Pheasant. They also have very sharp feathers.
Personality/Temperament:
Crowdell's are extremely territorial. They do not take kindly to anything waking it, taking prey that it has claimed or flying within its chosen area.
While Crowdells are capable of hunting in packs they generally take turns hunting prey. The strongest of the Murder gets to go first and then it's down the pecking order from there.
Stats:
This species is considered to be intelligent.
Crowdells have access to levels of strength that should not be capable with their build. A single Crowdell could take down prey up to thrice its size without worry assuming the prey was magically challenged.
Crowdells can mimic voices and various monster calls even if they don't fully understand the meaning.
Magical Capacity:
They are capable of physical enhancement magic, illusion magic and wind magic (vibration/sound subset of wind magic).
Notable Resistances:
Crodell's have three hearts and can fight at max strength with only two of them.
Crowdell's have a natural resistance to edged weapons.
Crowdell's take less damage from ice and wind magic.
Notable Weaknesses:
Crowdell's take more damage from lightning magic.
They tend to avoid attacks that focus on blunt trauma and piercing as that could break their feathered based resistances.
Other:
Crowdell's are constantly beefing with Wyvern's. In fact a Crowdell would be expected to follow a Wyvern across an entire continent just for the chance to attack it.
Crowdell's love attacking livestock and farms just to pissoff the Wyvern's that guard the livestock.
It's been said that Crowdell's were once Earthfolk's go to avian companions. But no one has been able to figure out what changed or why Crowdells are so hostile in current times.
Mimic
Physical Description:
Size: Base form is about the size of a basketball. However they take the form of whatever they are copying the appearance of.
Mimics look like semisolid clay when they haven't taken on the appearance of anything/anyone else.
Personality/Temperament:
For the longest time Mimic's were docile. They only attacked Earthfolk when unable to secure other prey.
Stats:
This species is widely considered to be unintelligent. They simply act based on needs and are emotionless.
Due to their incredible ability to copy what they perceive they can be extremely dangerous or hardly a risk.
Magical Capacity:
It's been said that their mana reserves are tied to the environment around them. This provides them with near endless mana to utilize.
They can have access to near any ability they perceive their intended copy to have.
Notable Resistances:
In their base form blunt weapons are rather ineffective. However once transformed their resistances and weaknesses are based on what/who they copied.
Notable Weaknesses:
In their base form edged weapons are rather effective. However once transformed their resistances and weaknesses are based on what/who they copied.
Other:
Earthfolk never harbored any ill will towards Mimics and vice versa. To the Earthfolk Mimics were just another creature that would attack on instinct and need to be dealt with accordingly.
An Ennobled Mimic can produce kin at an alarming rate. This is rarely out of desire but instead stems from necessity.
Nessy (Sea Serpent)
Physical Description:
Size: L:Up to 80m
They will usually be colored similarly to the water around them in an effort to blend in with their environment.
Nessy's have a serpentine look to them. Elongated bodies with reinforced skulls and massive fangs. The ends of their tails have a sharp fin that is incredibly dangerous.
Personality/Temperament:
This species is generally docile. However they will become aggressive if their feeding/breeding grounds are infringed upon.
Stats:
This species is widely considered to be below average intelligence for beasts.
Their massive structures make them a force to be reckoned with. However they lack tactical prowess.
Magical Capacity:
Nessy's can utilize water and ice magic proficiently.
Notable Resistances:
Nessy's take little to no damage from water magic.
Due to their size they can cut through water at a breakneck pace.
Notable Weaknesses:
Nessy's have relied on brute strength for so long that they do not employ smart/well thought out tactics in battle.
Other:
Merefolk have long been associated with Nessy's as they lead a symbiotic lifestyle. Merefolk gain protection from other obnoxious and dangerous predators. While Nessy's gain the comfort of knowledgeable friends who take care of their various needs.
Graowl
Physical Description:
Size: Ox - L:245cm, H:225cm
This species is usually brown, black or auburn colored.
Bull face/horns. Owl-like wings. Owl talons on front feet. Three tails that can be thrashed like whips. Body is covered in hide and feathers. Females have utters.
Personality/Temperament:
This species is docile to a fault. Their survival instincts usually cause them to run and trample whatever is in their way when they run away.
They feel safe around Earthfolk and Wyvern's.
Stats:
Severely lacking in the intelligence department.
They are physically strong but not strong enough to fend off the majority of their predators.
Magical Capacity:
They can enhance their strength slightly but aren't magically inclined.
Notable Resistances:
They have none.
Notable Weaknesses:
Easily intimidated and aggroed.
Susceptible to all forms of magic.
Other:
Due to domestication and evolution their wings have become entirely useless coining the term "Sure, When Graowls fly." as a way to say "That will never happen."
It's a surprise to many that Grawols are not registered on the endangered index. However their ability to reproduce paired with Earthfolk mingling has kept them safe for now.
Vulcanis Vinsectum (Bomber Bugs)
Physical Description:
Size: Ford f250 - L:579cm, H:207cm
The shells on these creatures often are a bright translucent red or black. In sandy areas they are usually tan instead.
Insects that have what appear to be a scorpion's tail and stinger. The forelegs of a mole cricket and the mandible of a bullet ant. Occasionally the area around their stinger will flicker with mana and make a disturbing clicking sound.
Personality/Temperament:
This species is INCREDIBLY violent. If they feel vibrations of anything other than their own species they will attack en masse.
If their queen's territory or the queen herself is in danger they will fight with no regard to their own safety or life.
Stats:
Hivemind-like intelligence. Their intelligence is based on the intelligence of their queen.
Physically rather powerful but the main thing that makes them fearful is their explosive acid.
They can move surprisingly quickly underground.
Their mandibles are capable of slicing through shields and armour like butter.
Magical Capacity:
Bomber Bugs are proficient in poison magic, fire magic, explosion magic and have access to earth magic.
Notable Resistances:
They have a solid resistance to earth magic and are immune to poison.
Their shells are incredibly durable. Most conventional weapons struggle to pierce through their carapace.
Notable Weaknesses:
Highly flammable. If the flame reaches their acid glands they will promptly explode.
Other:
There are unverified reports that these monstrosities were created by Earthfolk.

Gate: One's "soul" or connection to mana.
Magical Circuits: Much like how veins and arteries allow blood to circulate through the body. These are the pathways used to circulate mana through one's body.
Chrominium: A highly conductive substance that allows for easy mana manipulation.
Breaker: A relic or special piece of equipment with large amounts of mana associated with it. It is often said that Breaker's are living and an extension of the user.
