I just rounded off my conversation with Daniel when I saw someone trying to slap Via. What? It was actually Gabriel. The nerves huh?
I rushed to him immediately and prevented him from laying a finger on her.
I twisted his arm and he groaned in pain. Right! He deserves it and even more.
"Let go of my hand, you coward."
He groaned in pain and I twisted his arms even more.
"You've got the guts, huh? You dare to lay a finger on her. Hasn't she told you to stay away from her?"
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
"Now listen to me and listen very carefully. The next time I see you anywhere close to her, let alone laying a finger on her, I'll make sure you're out of this school. I'll make sure to teach you a bitter lesson. I promise you. Now take your huffy ass out of here."
I said and let go of his hands.
"Ouch! That really hurts. You idiot. Mark my words, I Gabriel Miller, will teach you never to mess with people like me. "
He said that and left angrily.

Woah! Tears welled up iny eyes as I tried to process the whole scenario a few minutes ago. Brian really stood up for me?
Oh goodness. I'm so happy right now. I mean no one has ever stood up for me since I started attending R.K.H the way Brian did.
This is what makes me see reasons to keep falling for him.

"Thank you so much bestie. You were super amazing. You actually stood up for me like no one has.
I couldn't have imagined what he would have done to me if you didn't come to my rescue on time. Thank you so much."
"C'mon. It's no big deal. You're welcome anyways. But where are you heading to?"
"Where else if not home?"
" Oh, home?"
"Yeah."
"Ok, let me drop you off then. My driver would soon be here."
"Well, you really don't have to worry . I promise I'll be fine. I'll just board a taxi or something."
"What are friends for then? Huh?"
"But I told you I can....."
"I insist."
"Fine then."
But I was really nervous. Even though I don't know the reason. I mean he's my bestie right? I shouldnt be.

His chaffeur arrived few minutes later in a red flashy Bugatti and I couldn't help but wonder how many cars this guy has got.
We got into the car and I could notices the stares from other students.
The ride was silent throughout coz I really couldn't think of something to bring up. I noticed the driver taking another route and I got kind of confused.
" Hey!Where are you taking me to, huh? Brian Where are we going?"
I turned to Brian and he was giving me that smirky attitude.
"To the pharmacy, of course. Youve forgotten so soon, bunny?"
"Holy shit! How could I forget. I mean I can't possibly forget I haven't taken medications. I was just Uhm...I..Uhm..."
I could feel the gaze of the driver, smirking and I felt quite embarrassed.
"Just admit it already. You forgot."
"I didn't."
"Of course you did."
Olivia - Please could you stop this for duck's sake How in the world would I forget such a thing. Impossible!"
" Oh! Then why are stammering?"
"I...Uhmm.."
"Got an answer to that?"
"Okay fine. I did. Could you please stop this now?"
"Sir, we're here already ."
Matthew, the driver announced.
I wondered why he referred to Brian as "sir". Coz he's old enough to be his father.
Brian stepped down and held the door for me. And Geez!
It was fucking amazing. It was no way like a pharmacy.
In front was created "BRIAN KINGS PHARMACY".
Woah...wait! Does that mean he owns this place? Don't tell me...
"Good day sir. Good afternoon ma'am. Welcome"
All the staffs greeted us as we walked in. I was feeling a little bit shy and nervous so I stopped at the doorway.
"Hey. Come on in, why are you staying outside?"
He said and took my hand as we walked in. Everyone was staring at me and that moment I felt honoured. I felt like I was on cloud 9.
"So via, my staff here will take you to a place you will undergo a test. Let's actually confirm what's wrong with you before we begin any further treatment."
'His staff'.
So he owns here? What the fuck?
I nodded and followed the staff to a room while Brian waited somewhere. Minutes later, the result was out and I was diagnosed with typhoid and malaria.
I was given some prescribed medications. I thanked them and left after I got to know that Brian had already settled the bills..
I walked over to Brian and he gave me a surprised look.
"You're done already?"
"Yeah. Thanks anyways.
"You're welcome, beautiful."
As soon as we got into the car, I let out my mind to Brian.
"Brian?"
"Hmmmm?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Go on."
"Why do you care about me so much?"
"Well, let's just say that's because of our bonded relationship. You're my best friend afterall."
Sigh!
I expected him to say more. I really like him and I thought he did too. Guess it turned out to be the other way round.
"Thank you so much Brian. Thanks for today. You really made my day."
"The pleasure is all mine, my lady."
He said playfully, poking my belly. We continued our journey as I kept on giving the driver directions to my house.
At intervals, I noticed Brian stealing a glance at me and it made me blush. My cheeks were already hurting from the way I was smiling. They were already red like tomatoes.
