"You should see them, old devil! Look what I've done, praise me!"
Eros's voice rang out before the dining room doors even finished opening, absolutely brimming with smug joy. The heavy obsidian double-doors creaked open on a room that no longer resembled anything remotely civilized. Velvet chairs were flipped. Fruit bowls were upturned. Candlesticks were missing entirely. A wine bottle hung upside down from the chandelier.
And right in the middle of it all?
Three women, naked and wrecked, were draped across a table like an aftermath painting of a gluttonous sin feast. One was slumped half-off the edge, another curled into the curve of the host's chair with a lazy moan, and the last had slid to the floor completely, her legs twitching faintly like the memory of pleasure hadn't quite faded.
And then there was Lux.
