The Beyonder abilities of a "Lawyer" comprised three distinct powers. The first was the enhancement of spirituality. The second was exceptional logical reasoning, coupled with the ability to unravel critical insights by meticulously sifting through information.
The third, and core, ability of the "Lawyer" was "Extraordinary Eloquence."
This granted supernatural prowess in oratory and persuasion, enabling the user to subtly distort or guide a target's thoughts, fostering feelings of affinity and trust.
As a Primarch, Nimrod was destined to conquer Vostonia.
Of course, not all Primarchs sought to dominate their worlds. Horus, before awakening his genetic memories, was merely a gang youth, never unifying Cthonia.
Upon awakening, he returned to the Imperium.
Regardless of other Primarchs' paths, Nimrod had resolved to conquer Vostonia, with ambitions to expand to other worlds if opportunity arose.
Simultaneously, he aimed to ascend the Sequence Pathway, beginning with embodying the role of "Lawyer" to digest the potion.
Consuming a potion did not guarantee full absorption. To harness its complete power, one had to engage in "acting."
Acting required interpreting the potion's name, discerning its core symbolism and specific imagery.
Nimrod believed that embodying a "Lawyer" did not necessitate a literal legal profession.
Exploiting rules for gain constituted acting as a "Lawyer." Finding and leveraging loopholes in rules would enhance the acting's efficacy.
Whether his interpretation was correct would soon be evident, as Beyonders could sense the digestion progress through acting.
[From my past life's understanding, and what I've seen and heard in Tevarok, the underhive's sole rule is that dome affairs are judged by the Arbites, while beyond the domes, no rules exist.]
Nimrod, reaching this conclusion, immediately devised his next plan of action.
[As before, swiftly seize a factory.
If the Arbites intervene, use "Extraordinary Eloquence" to persuade them.]
With this in mind, he summoned Rorslev to inquire about the Khantemansi Dome's situation.
He targeted the dome's largest facility—the Magnito Steelworks, upon which all local factories relied for steel.
The Magnito-produced plasteel composite, Mittal Steel, even reached the upper hive, used in crafting carapace armor.
The steelworks was controlled by "Ironfist" Gorsque, whose enforcers numbered over a thousand.
Nimrod also learned Tevarok's timekeeping. A Vostonian day, like other hive worlds, was termed a work cycle.
Each work cycle spanned 33 hours, divided into three shifts: Bani Shift, Curie Shift, and Night Kai Shift.
Upper hive workers adhered strictly to a three-shift rotation.
Underhive factories' work hours varied but were generally longer than those in the upper hive.
Nimrod resolved to strike during the final hour of the Night Kai Shift. Though workers' schedules fluctuated, guards followed a three-shift cycle.
The last hour before their shift change, coinciding with the rise of the dust-veiled star, was when they were most lax.
In the penultimate hour of the Night Kai Shift, Nimrod stood atop a high platform, tapping his brow twice to activate Spirit Vision, gazing at the crowd below.
A person's emotional state, or "Astral Body," manifested subtly outwardly.
Beyonders with Spirit Vision could assess health and emotions through variations in an aura's thickness, brightness, and color.
Having previously examined his own physical state, Nimrod now observed the collective mood of others.
Most psykers possessed similar abilities, which the Thousand Sons called Aetheric Sight.
Nimrod scanned the crowd. As expected, most auras were dominated by heavy black, signaling fear of him.
Some, particularly Rorslev and others who'd tasted rewards, bore faint orange streaks of anticipation in their auras.
He tapped his brow twice again, deactivating Spirit Vision, and spoke.
"These past days, you've learned: the more you do, the more you gain. But you don't know how much you'll receive."
"In the past, you followed bosses, fighting and dying for scraps, often going hungry."
"Things are different now. If you work hard, you'll feast. Today, I brought back giant rats and Rasvort."
Nimrod's voice deepened, weaving temptation into his words.
"Picture it: a bite of rat meat, a gulp of Rasvort."
His men, captivated by the newly minted "Lawyer's" vivid imagery, envisioned the scene, instinctively swallowing hard.
Rorslev was the first to look up, his eyes brimming with yearning.
Others, influenced, raised their heads.
Soon, all gazed at their boss with hopeful gleams.
Nimrod raised his hand, swinging it forcefully. "Move out!"
"Seize the Magnito Steelworks! Feast on meat and drink!"
The crowd roared fanatically, echoing: "Seize the Magnito Steelworks! Feast on meat and drink!"
As they turned, Nimrod lowered his arm, tapping his brow twice.
As expected, their auras had shifted, now dominated by red fervor and excitement.
One stellar hour later, rapid gunfire erupted at the Magnito Steelworks.
After slaying the gate guards, Nimrod charged into the factory, spotting a tall, bearded man on an iron platform glaring at him.
The man's right sleeve was rolled up, revealing his steel augmetic arm.
"Nimrod."
Gorsque's tone was certain. He spat on the ground.
"Kid, killing Vulture shows you've got some skill."
"But I'm no waste like Vulture. Today, I'll capture you, have my fun, then sell you to the upper hive."
A lasbeam answered him. Gorsque saw Nimrod raise his gun and cursed inwardly, barely raising his steel arm to shield himself.
Amid a sharp, sizzling hum, a gaping hole was blasted through the arm, exposing copper wires and steel plates.
"You brat, daring a sneak attack."
Gorsque swung his arm, clenching hard. His steel fist spun, rocketing toward Nimrod.
With a costly augmetic arm bought from the Finder Family, he'd ambushed and killed several underhive champions.
Knowing Nimrod's marksmanship nearly claimed him, Gorsque unleashed his iron fist's killing move, reserved for the toughest foes.
Nimrod held his lasgun in his left hand, swiftly drawing his chainsword with his right, igniting its roar.
Recalling the mechanical constructs' schematics, he thrust the blade upward, slicing precisely into the linkage and joint of the fist's mechanism.
The transmission drove the fist forward, but the chainsword jammed it.
Two opposing, near-perpendicular forces clashed at high speed. Seconds later, the fist detached from its linkage, clattering to the ground.
Gorsque, stunned, turned to flee.
After a single step, a brilliant lasbeam pierced his skull from behind.
One work cycle later, Nimrod controlled the Magnito Steelworks.
His forces grew, incorporating some of Ironfist's enforcers, swelling his fighters to nearly six hundred.
Nimrod personally led two hundred men into the tunnels, hunting over four hundred giant rats, fifty of which were traded for over a hundred bottles of Rasvort.
As meat broth simmered, he addressed the crowd.
"As I promised, for each person in this fight, meat aplenty and a cup of drink."
"Newcomers get only broth. Want meat and drink? Work harder next time."
Activating Spirit Vision, he observed their auras. His original men glowed with warm, satisfied orange, their gazes shifting from fear to awe.
New recruits' auras mingled fear with hope and envy.
Nimrod nodded, satisfied, feeling his spirituality grow livelier.
[Acting as a "Lawyer" succeeded, digesting part of the potion.]
He entered the control room, locking the door. With a thought, black mist rose, his spirituality lightened, and his "Astral Body" detached, instantly arriving in the "Nation of Disorder."

A/N: Potion acting absorbs the Beyonder traits within, enhancing spirituality and abilities.
For example, "Lawyer" digestion hinges on exploiting rules, especially loopholes. Gaining others' recognition boosts digestion progress. The Chaos Lesser God Malice, of immense power and chaotic nature, relies on raw force, not order or rules, and could never digest a "Lawyer" potion. Conversely, an ordinary lawyer might digest it by handling a major case (planetary scale), a legal team in weeks, or an administratum official in a month.
