Chapter 3 - Little one

Years passed and I grew a little, the system hasn't given me any new quests or rewards, and every time I ask he says your a baby all you can do is eat and shit, I'm not rewarding that.

My father is a small time baron. Lucy Dyre. He got his title for saving the kings little brother in an ambush years ago. He seems like a prideful man who always follows his moral compass. He also seems pretty strict with his house.

I got to see my mother and she usually takes care of me most days when she can. I've learned that there were complications with my birth that left mother unable to have any more children. Mother is a total MILF, and incredible sweet.

I have also learned I'm not the only child to my mother and father, I have siblings. Two older brothers and two older sisters. The eldest be Oliver, then Marcus, then Sophie, and last Bella.

Oliver is 15 years old and preparing for magic academy. He also trains with a sword. He's fairly tall, atleast taller than I was in my last life. He seems like a regular kid being groomed to take over for father.

Marcus is 13 and is more creatively inclined. He practices a few different instruments and is rather good at them. Father makes him study magic most days as punishment. He's a bit wild, but I can respect that.

Sophie is 12, and I bet she turns into a real hottie one day. Mother dotes on her constantly and she's really into fashion. She also has a knack for healing and fire magic.

Bella is 8, I'm not sure how to feel about her. She's kind of a brat to everyone but me. I think she thinks I'm one of her dolls. She doesn't mistreat me but is just weird. Like our mother and sister her looks will probably kill one day. She hasn't awoken her magic yet but she is close.

I've also met our head butler, Malcolm and a few maids. Reina's still my favorite though.

I'm currently sat outside in the garden, Bella insisted we have a tea party.

"Silas please pour more tea for Count Berry!" Bella ordered her maid. The man was adept at following her orders. "And brother, how is the snacks I provided? I made them myself."

Looking at the lavish tray of desserts I could tell she actually did make some, Silas must have helped her. While quickly popping a small piece of fruit in my mouth, I answered. "They are quite good, sister."

She nodded and turned to another stuffed animal that was attending this tea party count Leon, and began a make believe conversation.

'System do I really have to endure this? All I want to do is go back to bed!'

(Shut up brat, this world is unforgiving, and your family is the only one guaranteed to have your back. Plus humoring the girl costs you nothing, now enjoy your tea party.)

Internally groaning, I sighed. Bella turned to me, stopping her conversation with herstuffed lion and bear. "Brother do you ever wonder what death is truly like?"

Surprised, "It's probably pretty scary, Bella. Never seeing anyone again.. Never being again." She seemed to digest my opinion and nod. "I think I agree."

"My lady Bella, it's time to return to your classes." Silas said.

"But Silas we haven't finished!"

"Yes my lady, but your father will scold you again if you don't go."

"Fine! My lords, brother this is were I must leave you. Please stay and enjoy the rest of the snacks." Bella said standing.

"Sister, how about I bring them to our other siblings and mother and father? I'm sure they would like to try what you made."

Bella flashed a smile. "Thank you brother!" Silas slightly nodded at my words. "Excellent decision young master." They both left and returned to the east wing of our estate.

Turning to Reina, "Would you mind gathering all of Bella's food? Oh and make sure someone returns to get her stuffed animals."

Reina nodded at my requests. "Let's see Marcus first."

Approaching Marcus' study, Reina and I heard him playing softly. I wasn't one who cared much for music in my last life but I could tell he was quite good.

*Knock knock*

I met his gaze over the grand piano as he stopped playing. "Ah if it isn't my favorite younger brother? Care to finally learn an instrument?"

There sat my second eldest brother. He had short black hair and blue eyes like our father. He disregarded usual noble attire for comfort. Wearing a silk robe tied at the waist.

His study was a mess of creativity. Pages of stories, half drawn paintings and sheets of music scattered the room. He was like a tortured artists getting new inspiration before he could explore the last one.

"No Marcus, I came to share some of Bella's cooking." Marcus shivered slightly when I said Bella's name. "Hmm, thank you just leave them on the desk, I'll have some when I take a break."

"Jupiter.. what do you want to be when you grow up?"

"I think I just want to enjoy life and experience everything I can." Marcus smiled at my response.

"Me too, little brother. Oh Reina, you look quite beautiful today." Glancing up I could see tinges of red touch her cheeks. That irked me.

"Brother if you have time to compliment my maid surely you have time to attend a tea party with Bella and I?"

"You couldn't make me attend, if you dragged me brother. Our sister is a bit of a weird one."

I nodded.

"Get going, I think I got an idea for a short story."

Rolling my eyes, "Romance?" I asked.

"Horror." He said playing once more.

Once we left and returned to the hallway, a voice could be heard loud and clear "Jupiter?"

"Shit, Reina, it's Sophie!"

"Yes, young Master it seems she has returned from her trip to the village."

"That means she has.."

"Outfits she probably wants you to try on yes."

"Reina let's do stealth mode."

"Young master.." Before Reina could protest Sophie appeared around the corner, to find Reina holding a tray of desserts alone.

"Reina? Is my brother with you? I thought I heard his voice."

"He tasked me with delivering these desserts Bella made Lady Sophie."

Grabbing a cookie. "Oh, well if you see him let him know I'm looking for him, will you?"

"Of course my lady."

"I guess I'll just bother Marcus since I'm here."

"Of course lady Sophie."

From under Reina's dress I heard a miss key on the piano and a large crash. He must have made a run for it.

Sophie chased after him, "MARCUS!!" She yelled.

Just as I was about to come out, I felt Reina tense up.

"Hello young master Oliver!"

"Reina? On another errand for my little brother are you?" He said as he approached us.

"Yes my lord, dessert?"

I could hear Oliver's steps get closer as he walked to us. "Oh they look quite good actually" taking a bite he quickly spit it out. "Reina I don't know which chef prepared these but let father know they should be fired."

"Um, they were prepared by Young lady Bella, my lord." Oliver seemed to choke at that.

"Eh, nevermind then, hopefully she can find something else as a hobby."

Continuing on a few more steps away he turned back, "Reina make sure to throw those out. And little one, don't hide from your sister, I'm sure it hurts her feelings."
