It was a distraction.
And it had worked.
"Die!" a voice screamed from in front of him.
Too fast.
He couldn't move in time.
BOOM.
He was hit.
And once again, the God of Destruction was thrown back like a ragdoll—
BOOM.
BOOM.
His body pierced through mountain after mountain, crashing through the stone like paper, before finally coming to a brutal stop.
Before anyone could even take a breath of relief, a figure shot out of the dust storm and into the sky—toward the gods.
"Third sister, hurry up!" the Vampire Goddess screamed, her voice sharp with urgency.
At that call, a calm voice replied, flat and controlled, "I am."
And with that voice came a storm—a convergence of countless elements—compressed and swirling into a single spear that floated beside the Elemental Goddess. Her eyes locked onto the flying figure of the Destruction God.
He was a mess. Black blood spilled from his mouth, his body broken, yet he didn't stop. His gaze was fixed on the nearby, weaker gods—ignoring them completely.
That was his mistake.
Or maybe... it wasn't.
"Release: Overload Spear," the Third Sister commanded.
The spear beside her vanished in an instant—
BOOM!
"So fast," the Vampire Goddess whispered, barely able to see the attack. In the blink of an eye, the spear was already in front of the Destruction God.
But...
The God of Destruction smirked.
In a blur, he shielded himself with his sword.
Another massive BOOM detonated—an explosion so vast, so devastating, it engulfed even nearby gods and goddesses. The sky shook. The land cracked open. A massive crater scarred the earth beneath them.
The other gods stood on standby, gasping for breath at the raw force unleashed.
"Amazing... Even though we've all lost of our strength since the disappearance of Prana, the primordial energy… and now survive only on our natural bloodline and racial abilities… we are still nothing compared to Heaven's four children," one god murmured, awe in his voice.
"Well, they were chosen by Heaven for a reason—and blessed by it," another god responded to the first.
"Indeed," the first agreed, nodding solemnly.
As the dust began to clear, a figure slowly became visible.
A man stood at its center.
In his hand—
A corpse, held close to his face.
The sight made everyone freeze.
And then, one god said what they were all thinking:
"Shit—we're screwed!" he screamed, pure fear in his voice.
Other gods who heard him began to sweat. Their confidence faltered. Their will wavered.
But one god stepped forward. His voice was resolute. Firm.
"Noctorian Veydrak.
The first vampire to ever walk under the sun.
The first child of Heaven.
The one who embodies destruction.
The one who carries the first part of Heaven's essence.
The traitor of Heaven.
The Vampire God of Destruction and Eternal Dusk," spoke the Silver Dragon, his voice loud and unwavering.
And at those words, the gathered gods grew even more anxious. Their resolve slipped.
"BUT—" the Silver Dragon roared, voice ringing with strength.
"We have three Children of Heaven on our side." He took a deep breath and continued:
"Auranyth Valtherion.
The first dragon to ever come into existence.
The second child of Heaven.
The one who embodies strength and pride.
The one who carries the second part of Heaven.
The Dragon-God of Eternal Might and Unshaken Pride."
He didn't stop.
"Elarionyx Thalmyra.
The first hybrid between an elf and a fairy.
The third child of Heaven.
The one who embodies kindness and familiarity.
The one who carries the third part of Heaven.
The Soulmother of the Bound Elements. The Goddess of Elements."
Still, he continued.
"Finally—Virelyss Solkarra.
The second vampire to walk under the sun.
The fourth child of Heaven.
The one who embodies the thirst for war and blood.
The one who carries the fourth part of Heaven.
The Crimson Wargoddess of Eternal Bloodfire."
At last, he finished.
