Chapter 100 - Chapter 100 (Finale): With This,There Were No More Demons In The World.

"It's over?!"

The shouts gradually faded, leaving only the scars and destruction etched into the battlefield as testimony to the battle that had just taken place. All the demons—every last one of them—had vanished without a trace.

It was as though they had never existed.

Yet the shattered earth, the buildings that had erupted from beneath the surface, and the grievous wounds carved into everyone's bodies—all of it confirmed one undeniable truth: none of this had been an illusion.

"Quick! Hurry!"

Calls to treat the wounded echoed through the air. Now that the battle had ended, the living needed care more than ever.

The cost of this final conflict had been devastating. Too many members of the Demon Slayer Corps had fallen. And though it was over, the survivors deserved immediate help.

The Hashira-level fighters, too, were barely standing. Their stamina had been completely drained. After all, it was Yohan who had ultimately delivered the final blow to Muzan Kibutsuji.

The Demon Slayer Corps, like a precise and tireless machine, once again began to function. But this time, every face bore a radiant smile.

The battle was over.

….

Butterfly Mansion—

The current temporary headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Inside, the once-bedridden Kagaya Ubuyashiki sat with his wife Amane, both of them rescued by Yohan. Their son, Kiriya Ubuyashiki—the newly appointed leader of the Corps—was also present, along with the Butterfly Mansion residents.

"He's dead. Muzan is dead!"

Cheers erupted within the Butterfly Mansion as news spread. Thanks to Yushiro's Blood Demon Art, everyone had seen it clearly—the moment when Muzan Kibutsuji perished under the unrelenting blaze of the sun.

"The mission of the Ubuyashiki family... has finally been fulfilled."

Kagaya drew in a deep breath. The burden he had carried for so many years—one that had weighed down every breath, every heartbeat—lifted from his shoulders at last.

It had ended with him. In his lifetime, Muzan had been completely and utterly destroyed. The Ubuyashiki family's age-old vow was complete.

"Darling! You... You...!"

Amane's voice trembled with emotion, but her eyes were fixed solely on Kagaya's face.

"What's wrong, Amane...?"

Kagaya, who had believed she was simply overcome with the same joy he felt, suddenly realized something strange. His body—so often wracked with pain—felt light. The oppressive weight of his cursed blood, which had once left him gasping for air, was completely gone!

"I... What is this...?"

A sudden thought flashed across his mind. Kagaya slowly lifted his head and stared at Amane.

"Amane... could it be... Am I truly...?"

"Yes! Darling, the curse is gone!"

Amane could no longer hold back her tears. They flowed freely as she smiled joyously for her beloved husband. Her pillar, her Husband, was healed.

As the daughter of a shrine priest, Amane had always known—ever since the day she married him—that their time together would be short. Her entire heart had always been tied to Kagaya's life, and she had long since decided that once he passed, she would follow him.

But deep down, she had still hoped—hoped they might have more time to live, not as the leaders of the Demon Slayer Corps, but simply as husband and wife. To live life, truly live it.

And now... that wish had come true.

"Father! You're healed!"

The others in the Butterfly Mansion noticed too. News of Kagaya's curse being lifted sent waves of joy through them. His warmth, his spirit, his strength—they had inspired every member of the Demon Slayer Corps. And until now, they had only been able to stand by helplessly as he deteriorated.

But now—now he had returned to health.

"The curse of the Ubuyashiki bloodline... has finally been broken!"

Kagaya let out a long, heartfelt sigh. So much had happened all at once that he almost doubted this was reality. Could this be a dream? A vision as he perished in the final explosion?

….

Post-battle operations were fully handed over to the Kakushi—the Corps' hidden support unit. When it came to cleanup, they were the best.

To the surrounding civilians, it had merely looked like a massive explosion. No one knew the truth—that the demon who had plagued humanity for a thousand years had, in that moment, been completely erased from history.

….

"These past few days have been really hectic, huh?"

"No kidding! Even the Hashira are helping rebuild headquarters. I heard the new base looks amazing!"

"We should really find time to go see it!"

"Yeah, but Butterfly Mansion's security is tight. Otherwise, I'd be out there helping rebuild too."

Two Demon Slayer members chatted idly from their beds inside the Butterfly Mansion, where all injured fighters had been taken. It was crowded. Everywhere you looked, people were receiving treatment.

"Quiet! Time to take your medicine."

Shinobu Kocho delivered the meds and made her way toward a room deeper inside the mansion.

It belonged to one of the greatest heroes of the Demon Slayer Corps.

The man who killed Muzan Kibutsuji—Yohan.

"This lazy guy… He came back, disappeared into his room, and hasn't lifted a finger since. He hasn't even come to check on me!"

Shinobu muttered in irritation. The mansion was bustling, and even she was running on fumes. And yet this guy… was just relaxing in there, doing nothing!

"Unbelievable! So infuriating!"

She stomped her foot twice on the floor, ready to turn and leave—when suddenly, a hand reached out from the room and pulled her in.

"You came all this way… why leave so soon?"

"Ah! You jerk!"

Laughter and playful scolding echoed from the depths of the Butterfly Mansion.

….

At the newly reconstructed Demon Slayer Corps headquarters—

Former leader Kagaya Ubuyashiki and the current leader, Kiriya Ubuyashiki, sat on one side of the room with the rest of the Ubuyashiki clan. Opposite them were the Hashira. The atmosphere was solemn.

"Everyone… thank you for everything."

Kiriya rose and spoke with clear conviction.

"I hereby declare—the Demon Slayer Corps is officially disbanded."

At his words, the Ubuyashiki clan stood and bowed deeply.

"Master!"

The Hashira called out in unison—but none tried to stop the decision.

"The Corps has come this far thanks to the dedication of the Ubuyashiki family."

They returned the bow with the utmost respect.

And so—

The Demon Slayer Corps, an organization that had endured for a millennium, with the sole purpose of eliminating Muzan Kibutsuji…

was disbanded.

"Everyone, please allow me to say one last thing..."

Former Master Kagaya stepped forward.

"Though the Corps has ended, the Ubuyashiki family still needs you. I hope you'll accept this final request of mine."

In truth, Kagaya had already discussed the future with Yohan.

With the demons gone, the Corps no longer needed to exist. This power did not need to be passed down any further. But many Demon Slayer members had lived their entire lives outside society. Without demons to fight, they were lost.

And if they were left to drift... the consequences could be tragic.

So Kagaya's heartfelt request was this: for everyone to stay a little longer. To learn their true wishes. To help each and every one of them find a path forward.

They had risked everything for the sake of others—they deserved a future of peace and fulfillment.

"...Alright. I understand."

The Hashira weren't fools. They knew what Kagaya meant. And truthfully, without a goal to chase, none of them knew what to do now.

"From now on, just call me Kagaya."

"And from now on, I'll be counting on all of you."

"Yes, Lord Kagaya!"

Laughter filled the halls of the still-under-construction base.

….

"Yohan! Yohan! Yohan!"

Mitsuri Kanroji bounced up and down, her braids flying as she tugged at Yohan's sleeve excitedly.

"When are we leaving?!"

"Hold on, Mitsuri. Nezuko, Tamayo, Kanae, and Shinobu are still packing."

"That's right! Girls have a lot of luggage," Nezuko chimed in, giggling.

"Ehhh? Really?"

"Then how come I didn't pack this much the last time I went traveling with Yohan?"

Mitsuri tilted her head in confusion, an enormous question mark practically hovering over her head.

"They're here!" Nezuko called, pointing as three women approached.

"Yohan-kun!"

"Yohan!"

"You jerk!"

Three incredible women appeared before him, each unique in charm and strength.

This was Yohan's plan—a journey.

Demons were now a thing of the past. Shinobu and the others had finally succeeded in developing a medicine to turn demons back into humans. The last two had already been restored.

Now, Yohan was ready to take them all on a trip across the country. And when possible… to visit his birthplace of this world.

"Yohan! Yohan! Yohan!"

"Will we ever come back?"

Mitsuri, who had come to see Butterfly Mansion as home, asked with a trace of sorrow.

Yohan smiled gently.

"Of course we will."

"Our journey… is only just beginning."
