(Lincoln's POV)
"Ahh this is the life" I thought as I soaked in one of the herbal baths(Tropical addition ), I had some rough training
this morning since my sisters weren't there to butt in and was able test the limits of my body.
As I was getting out the bath I heard the doorbell ring.
"Hmm? who could that be?" I wondered as it was still early and I doubt that it's the ghouls from yesterday since
they have school.
I put on a new yukata which was dark blue with an ocean design and made my way to out the bathing area.
As I opened the front door I was surprised to see the ghouls how seemed to be accompanied by a short, middle-
aged women with black hair. She wears a pink dress and a red cloak held on with skull buttons, and red head
band.
"This must be Miss Grimwood" I thought
"Hey ghouls" I greeted them with a smile "I'm glad to see you all again."
"So are we" Winnie said as Tanis ran up and hugged my leg
"Aww did you miss me" I told the little mummy
"I believe she did as well as the rest of the girls" Said Miss Grimwood "All through out dinner they've been
talking about a nice boy that they've met." She said with a kind smile
"Oh where are my manners, I'm Miss Grimwood" She introduced " I run Grimwood's finishing school for ghouls,
it's a pleasure to meet you.
"Well the pleasure is mine" I told her "Please come on it, I was just about to brew some tea."
As I welcomed them into my home I get the feeling that I'm being watched.
(No POV)
As Lincoln brings them to a large room with a three couches a coffee table and a large 87in flat screen tv. "Please make yourselves at home, I'll be back with some tea in just a moment." As he left the Grimwood girls
started to among themselves.
"Did you ghouls see this place when coming to the school" Winnie asked as she didn't when her dad dropped
her off, but they all shook their heads no.
"This place seems so peaceful and did you see those pretty pink trees" Tanis said
"Those are called Cherry blossoms" Miss Grimmwood informed "They usually grow in Places around japan."
"So this was the boy you were all talking about" Miss Grimwood said "He seems like a fine young man, why I
believe he might be around Sibella's age."
"He might be" Winnie said before she turned to face Sibella "You planning to ask him out on a date?" Winnie
asked in a teasing manner as Phantasma started to pouted.
Sibella blushed a little but was able to fight it back down "He seems nice but we only met once before and I
would never date someone I barley know."
"Well that's true and he might be in a relationship already" Elsa pointed out
"That's true" Winnie says as Phanty and Sibella couldn't help but frown a little
Miss Grimwood seems to have notice their expressions and chuckled softly "oh It seems to me that these two
might have a small crush, oh to be young again" Miss grimwood thought
"Sorry for the wait" Lincoln said as he walks in carrying a try with white and blue porcelain tea set as well as a
tray of Macaroon(Small colorful bite size cakes).
As Lincoln pours everyone a cup of tea he tells them to help themselves to the snacks he brought.
"Oh my, this is one of the best brews that I've ever had" Miss Grimwood said as she has never tasted this type of
tea before.

"Well it's my own special brew made from a very rare and special flower that I've grown" Lincoln informed her.
"I've never been a tea person but I love this stuff" Winnie said as she enjoys her own cup.
"And these cakes are delicious" Tanis exclaims as she is seen munching on a macaroon.
"I'm glad you like them" Lincoln said with a smile, happy that they're enjoying them "I baked them myself"
"Is baking a hobby for you?" Elsa ask trying to learn more about him
"Only recently, lately I've been trying many things like cooking, crafting, martial arts and many others."Lincoln
said
"that's quite a number of hobbies" Miss Grimwood replied "I have a student that moves from one hobby to the
next almost every week"
"You have more students?" Lincoln asked
"Yes I do, three in fact but sadly they couldn't come" Miss Grimwood answered "one is busy, one is too shy, and
the last one..." Miss Grimwood tries to find the right words but then Winnie cut in.
"She's too stuck up believing she's superior to everyone just because she's smart" Winnie said with her arms
crossed
"Now Winnie" Miss Grimwood scolded "She just has a harder time expressing her emotions, you shouldn't be
talking about her like that.
"She's right" Lincoln said gaining their attention "I have a little sister who's the same way, she's a genius and
believes she's superior but she has a hard time understanding her own emotions that it's hard for her to express
them."
Looking down Winnie says "I'm sorry"
Lincoln just starts patting her head "Just start to keep an open mind about these things next time, ok"
She nodded as she subconsciously leans her head in my hand enjoying the petting with her tail softly wagging,
before realizing what she's doing and gains an embarrassed blush on her face.
As everyone started to laugh at the young werewolf's reaction, Miss Grimwood just smiled at the group.
"I've been trying to bridge the gap in human and monster's relations to get us to coexist" She thought gazing
upon the group laugh, talking and most importantly getting along. "And looking at them makes me think that
the future is already looking brighter."
"Oh I just remembered" Miss Grimwood exclaimed as she faces Lincoln"We came here so I could thank you for
looking after Winnie and Tanis the other day"
"You don't need to thank me" Lincoln told her "I'm just glad I was there to help them."
"My you such a kind young lad, you remind me of an old friend of mine" Miss Grimwood said with a sigh as she
thinks about him.
"Do I?" Lincoln wonders
"Are you talking about mister Albert?" Tanis asked having heard about the man from her father, the same can be
said for all the ghouls present as their parents have talked about the man with great respect.
"Ah yes Albert Chambers was a very close friend of mine as well as some of their fathers, but I haven't heard
from him in some time." Miss Grimwood said as Lincoln's eyes widened
"Wait did you say Albert Chambers?" Lincoln asked to make sure he heard right and as they nodded their heads,
Lincoln started to laugh.
Everyone grew confused looks "What's so funny?" Phanty asked not seeing a reason to laugh and she's the
funny one.
"How small the world is" Lincoln said as he catches his breath.
"Ya still not getting it" Phanty replied as Lincoln pulled out my wallet and fished out a picture.
"Well it's because your all talking about my Pop-Pop" Lincoln said as he shows them the photo he has of him
with his Grandfather, Albert Chambers.
As they looked at the photo Miss Grimwood can clearly see her old friend.
"That is Albert, I'd recognized that free spirited look anywhere" Miss Grimwood exclaimed shocked that she was
meeting her old friends grandson.
The ghouls however looked closely at the little white haired boy next to the man.
"Oh is this you when you were younger" Sibella said as he looked cute
"This was from a little over a month ago." Lincoln said as they looked at him then at the picture before looking
back at him.
"What?" Elsa said confused
"How old do you think I am?" Lincoln asked with a raised eyebrow
"You look like Sibella's age" Winnie said
"I don't know her or any of your ages" Lincoln pointed out
"I'm 15" Sibella said "Phantasma and Elsa are both 14, Winnie is 10 and Tanis is 6"
"Well I'm 11" Lincoln told him as they looked at him up and down
"I don't believe you" Winnie deadpanned as there was no way he is a year older then her and looks like that.
"what, I just went through a growth spurt" Lincoln exclaimed as he tells them all about it but leaves out the
'pain' from it, he notices that Miss Grimwood and Elsa knew about the detail that he was leaving out as he saw
the worry in their eyes but he gave them a small pleading look to not say anything and they stayed silent.
"Wow, with how you looked and acted I thought you'd be closer to Sibella's age" Phanty said
"Hey, lets not go their" Winnie said "The guys around Sibella's age are really annoying, they either are afraid of
her or they try to hit on her."
"It does get tiring" Sibella sighs as it has happen on many occasions
"The afraid of you thing is stupid yes" Lincoln said as he takes a sip of his tea" and their are always going to be
those shallow guys that just want to date you without getting to know you just because your beautiful."
Sibella blushes a little but decides to have some fun as she leans a little closer to him with a smirk on her face.
"Oh so you think I'm beautiful" She said teasingly with a smirk that grew as Lincoln blushed
"I mean, who wouldn't think so after meeting you." Lincoln replies, trying to keep his face from going any redder.
"So it's just only her?" Phanty asked with false hurt as she playfully pouts "Don't you think I'm beautiful too"
"Of course you are" Lincoln says in a panic as their teasing is slowly getting to him"Only a fool would think
otherwise." a1
Seeing him like this makes all the ghouls laugh good heartedly as Lincoln now understands what they were
doing.
He swears to this day that he wasn't pouting.
Miss Grimwood chuckles good naturedly as she wished they could stay the rest of the day but knows that they
have to go back now.
"Ok girls I know that your all having such a good time but sadly we have to go" Miss Grimwood told her
students.
"Aw" The girls expressed as they were having a great time.
Lincoln after looking at the downhearted expressions on their faces felt bad.
"Would it alright for me to visit after their classed are over?" Lincoln asked as the ghouls looked up in
anticipation
"Of course it is" Miss Grimwood said as the ghouls smiled at that. "I would be a pleasure to have you around."
"Thank you so much" Lincoln said as he escorted them out the house but stopped as he seemed to remembered
something.
"One moment please" Lincoln ran into the kitchen.
A moment later he returned with nine small boxes and a sealed brown bag
"Please take some of the macaroon's I've made and a bag of the tea as well." Lincoln told them as he handed
each of the ghouls a box before handing the rest to Miss Grimwood "I even packed some for the ones that
couldn't come."
"why, that is very kind of you" Miss GrimWood said as she takes the boxes "I'm sure the'll appreciate
the gesture." Miss Grimwood smiled as she watched her students saying bye to their friend as it makes all the
efforts to bring humans and monsters closer together worthwhile.
(Lincoln's POV)
After the ghouls left I headed back inside.
I would start training again but I have started to miss some aspects of my life in Royal Woods so I decided to start
a group chat with two of my best friends Clyde and Ronnie Anne.
Opening up a new laptop I bought and started up a group chat but I made sure that the camera was off for now
so I can explain what happened before I show them how much I grew.
~Ring ring~
On the second ring they picked up.
"Lincoln are you there?" Ronnie Anne asked since she couldn't see me
"Ya, I'm here" I answered
"Lincoln, we've been trying to call you" Clyde said as he looked worried "When we came back to Royal Woods, I
tried calling you through our walkie talkies but you weren't answering"
"Sorry guys I have been busy lately" I told them
"Why is your camera off, is everything ok" Ronnie Anne asked in a slightly worried tone
"It's fine, I just have to tell you guys something" I said as I told them about my growth spurt and about the sister
fight protocol as I left out the 'pain' and leaving 'Royal Woods' part.
"That is the most stupidest and idiotic thing I have ever heard" Ronnie Ann said angry on how my sisters treated
me "And your parents just let this happened?"
"Yep" I answered "Their to afraid and delusional to do any real parenting as they think everything will just be
fine in the end."
"Hey Lincoln can you turn on your camera now?" Clyde asked "It feels weird to be on a video call with you and
not see you."
"Ok" I said as I holds my hand over the camera button "Just please remember what I told you about how much
I've changed."
"It's fine Lame-o we can handle it" Ronnie Anne said not really expecting a huge change
"She's right buddy" Clyde said in encouragement " We can handle it, I've been doing classes with Dr. Lopez to be
able to start handling some small changes here and there so I can take whatever change you went through."
With a deep breath I pressed the button and closed my eyes waiting for a reaction but I only heard a small thud.
As time slowly passed I still didn't hear anything so I opened my eyes and only see Ronnie Anne staring at me, so
I guess Clyde fell.
"Guys?" I said "you ok?"
Slowly Clyde raised himself off of the floor and fixes his glasses before looking at me.
"Buddy" Clyde started "You said you had a growth spurt?"
"Ya I did" I replied
After taking some deep breaths of his own Clyde started to calm down a little.
"He's taking it far better than I thought he would" I thought "I don't see the paper bag so he must have really
improved."
After calming down Clyde asked If I could tell him everything that happened since he was away, So I told him
about the Hex Girls, the mall, what happened at the consort and after.
"Wow" Clyde exclaimed in awe "You not only got to meet the Hex girls but played with them on stage!?"
"Ya it was crazy" I said with a small chuckle before I looked at the time.
"Well I'm sorry to cut this short but I have to get off" I told them as I have to start my next set of training in ten
minutes.
"Hey it's no problem" Clyde said "I have to finish unpacking so I have to go to, but it was great talking to you
again buddy."
"Me too" I said "I'll try to call again"
I was about to hang up when I notice that Ronnie Anne has been awfully quiet, as I see her still staring at me with
her checks a deep red. a1
"Ronnie Anne?" I asked "Are you ok"
That seemed to snap her out of what ever trance she was it as she shakes her head "Ya I'm great, oh would you
look at the time, I've got to go help my mom with something got to go bye" She said extremely fast as she hung
up.
Confused but not sure what to do I just ended the video call as I got up and started to head to the training room
(NO POV)
~Great lakes city~
Ronnie Anne was on her bed, she just hanged up on the call and after taking a deep breath.
She buried her head in her pillow and screamed for a hot minute before lifting her head.
"Stupid Lame-o jerk" Ronnie Anne muttered as her face was a deep red "You can't just look like that without
warning people." She said deciding to forget that he did in fact warned her. a4
she tries to get the image of Lincoln out of her head but it just keeps coming back in greater detail.
