Chapter 10 - ◼️ CHAPTER NINE : The Trial of the Six Thrones Begins

Every year, under the rule of the King of the Knights, a competition was held between the warriors of all six kingdoms. This competition was not just a spectacle of power, but a crucial decision-maker — it determined which country would receive assistance from the kingdom of the Knights King for the year ahead.

Like every other year, thirty years ago, such a competition was held as well.

That year, the battleground saw the arrival of many powerful warriors. They came clad in honor, ambition, and the desire to lead their kingdom to victory. Among the countless faces, eight candidates caught the eye of every single person present. Warriors, nobles, generals, even spies — all watched these eight with breath held and hearts wary.

The eight were:

1. Robert – 4th Division Captain of the Seven Warrior Kingdom.

2. Nyros Varkari – Vice President and the first son of the Varkari Family.

3. Noelle Lanis – The daughter of Neptune Lanis, the King of the Kingdom of Novels.

4. Paul Ken – A warrior from the Kingdom of Caves.

5. Alexander Junior – The prince of the Kingdom of Caves, now the current King of that realm.

6. Bero – The Silent Killer.

7. Shamru – The Predictor.

8. Jeffrey Hawkins – Identity unknown.

Aside from these eight, 49,543 soldiers were present at the fighting ground, each one a potential threat, each one a possible pawn or rival in the deadly game ahead.

The rules of the fight were declared, clear and unwavering:

> 1. You have to stay one night with all the candidates on the battlefield.

2. You can do whatever you want in the battlefield during that night... except killing each other.

3. You cannot use any of the Seven Swords of Destruction's powers.

4. The fight is to begin the next morning, after the night is spent with all candidates — precisely from 4 AM.

5. Once you enter the battlefield, you cannot leave it until the fight ends — even if it means death.

6. After the battle starts, the last one standing alive will be the winner.

As the sun dipped beyond the horizon that evening, the battlefield transformed into something darker — a waiting room of fate. The warriors set up camp in silence or laughter, in planning or praying. The eight chosen ones were watched more closely than ever, their every movement echoing in the hearts of the thousands around them.

Because all knew — when morning came, only one would survive.

And history would remember only the name of the one who remained.
