It was many hours later before Caius and Anne were done which translated to Anne having passed out with a fucked-silly smile on her face. She spoke in her sleep quite a bit and Caius, lying by her side, was amused by how many times she called his name.
Eventually, he left her in the bed alone and returned to her study where he picked up his clothes. But as he was about to put them on and leave for home, he decided he had more than enough time to spare for a bath before he did.
And so, with his clothes in his storage ring, Caius walked to the bath and sank himself in the warm water that washed him of every impurity. He had only soaked for about a second when he sensed a presence walk into the bath.
"You're back," he said.
Right that second, a set of clothing was dropped onto the edge of the bath along with a belt with multiple pouches.
"I am," Lea answered, "I checked on Mom on my way here. You've been busy."
