"Athenodora," Caius called her name and looked at that face he had not seen in five years unsure how to feel.
He usually liked to be detached about the memories he inherited because he didn't want them influencing his actions and reactions to the events of the world lest he become like Caius in [To Kill A Demon Lord…], feeling bitter and holding on to a lot of resentment mostly at himself.
But this woman—this Vampire—easily became an exception to that detachment and had him feeling a wave of emotions.
The Vampire standing in front of him put the status of 'True-Vampire' he had just acquired to shame. An aura was emanating from her body that had him feeling an inclination to not only bow but also fall to the ground and kiss her feet.
