Chapter 323 - 324

**Chapter 324: Forcing Entry into the Vought Base! Meeting Ryan!**

"Is the information source reliable? We're not going to waste a trip, are we?" Usually, only rookie reporters would ask such questions.

The veterans, however, had long since prepared their equipment, chugging Red Bull while flooring the gas pedal!

"This is private property. Unauthorized personnel are not permitted entry." The guards at the entrance of the Vought Base frowned upon seeing suspicious individuals approaching and warned loudly.

"I'm here to pick up my grandson."

Soldier Boy, wearing his suit and holding his shield, said with a cold expression.

"Do you have an appointment or an Entry Permit?" The guard looked at Soldier Boy's attire and asked with a slightly softened attitude.

"No." Soldier Boy shook his head.

"Sorry, without permission from our superiors, we cannot let you in."

The guard raised his automatic rifle, pointing the gun muzzle at Soldier Boy. "You have three minutes to leave, or don't blame us for being impolite."

The six guards at the Base entrance looked at Soldier Boy with extreme vigilance.

"Idiots."

Soldier Boy was a man of few words but ruthless action. He pounced like a cheetah, so fast that the Vought guards had no time to react. Bang! One of their heads was directly smashed by Soldier Boy's shield, like a bursting watermelon, blood splattering everywhere.

"What the f*ck! Sound the alarm! He's a Supe, quickly notify Homelander!"

Instantly, bullets rained down on Soldier Boy like dense drops. At the same time, an ear-piercing alarm sounded inside the Base!

Bang bang bang!!!

Bullets hitting Soldier Boy either bounced off immediately or had their warheads flattened, clinking and falling to the ground.

The familiar sound of gunshots and the faint gunpowder smell that spread.

It seemed to ignite Soldier Boy's ferocity. He swung his shield and smashed it towards the chest of the guard in front of him. With a muffled thud and a faint sound of bone cracking, the struck guard stumbled back, letting out a scream, while a large stream of blood gushed from his mouth. He then collapsed to the ground, his chest completely caved in.

"Seeking death." Soldier Boy turned his head and threw his shield with force. In an instant, two guards were cut in half by the shield, their deaths extremely gruesome. The shield also arced through the air and returned to Soldier Boy's hand.

Run! The two remaining guards who witnessed this scene lost all courage. They immediately threw down their automatic rifles and fled into the distance without looking back.

"Cowards who abandon your comrades, you deserve to die even more!" Soldier Boy, his face covered in bloodstains, expressionlessly wiped the blood from his face and threw his shield at them. The whistling shield, like the Grim Reaper demanding life, instantly sent two heads, their faces twisted in terror, flying high into the air.

After dealing with all the guards, Soldier Boy finally walked into the Base with satisfaction.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he stepped inside, he was surrounded by guards who had rushed out upon hearing the alarm.

Looking at the tall Soldier Boy, covered in blood, everyone was afraid to make a move. Finally, the Base Manager, pushing through the crowd, walked up to Soldier Boy.

He first looked Soldier Boy up and down, then frowned and asked, "Soldier Boy?"

But then he shook his head. "Impossible. Forty years have passed. Even if Soldier Boy were alive, he should be a white-haired old man."

"I'm glad you recognize me, but if you want to live, get out of my way."

"Wait a moment." The Base Manager instructed a guard nearby, "Go check the situation outside. Hurry back."

A few seconds later, the guard, looking terrified, rushed back to the Base Manager. "Gert and the others are all dead, and there are a lot of shell casings scattered on the ground."

"Alright, even if you are the Soldier Boy from forty years ago, you shouldn't have killed my team members. This is an Experiment Base belonging to Vought. If you have something to discuss, I suggest you report it to Vought International."

"Too troublesome. I'm taking Ryan tonight."

Soldier Boy ignored the guards in front of him and lifted his leg to force his way inside.

Seeing the surrounding guards raising their firearms, the atmosphere became extremely tense. After much thought, the Base Manager nodded. "I'll take you to see Ryan. Follow me."

Walking through a long Passage and opening several heavy Iron Doors.

The two arrived in a completely sealed Room with walls made of steel plates. Ryan was sitting on a sofa, looking at a cartoon book in his hands.

Hearing the sound, Ryan immediately turned his head to look back. However, when he saw that the visitor wasn't his mother or Homelander, he turned his head back again.

"Are you Ryan?" Soldier Boy walked behind Ryan and reached out to touch his hair.

Little did they know, outside the Base, reporters holding cameras had already surrounded the area. The News Media Circle was already a small circle, and with New York Media everywhere, almost everyone was a familiar face at a glance.

When they saw each other, their expressions were a bit confused. What's going on? Wasn't this supposed to be exclusive news? What the hell, with so many media reporters, how is this exclusive?

They were tricked! They gnashed their teeth in hatred at the person who made the phone call. They knew that exclusive news had the greatest value; otherwise, it was just a competition of speed to publish the news as quickly as possible.

"Look, someone's coming out to clean up the corpses."

A cry of surprise instantly excited the reporters present. Like a pack of fearless hyenas, they all rushed forward at top speed.

The guard who was originally planning to secretly deal with the corpses had just stepped out of the Base when he was met with countless flashes, almost blinding his eyes.

"What the f*ck, is it daytime already?"

"Excuse me, what are you doing? Who killed them? Was it Soldier Boy? Is he inside now?"

"We heard Homelander is Soldier Boy's son, is that information true?"

"Why did Vought build an unknown Secret Base here? Is Vought conducting human experiments in private?"

Facing the gale of questions from the reporters, the guards were bewildered and at a loss.

Inside the Base, upon learning that the outside was surrounded by reporters, the Base Manager's blood pressure immediately soared above 150. "Who the hell led those lunatics here! I'll... I'll..."

The words "kill him" never left his mouth, because he really couldn't do anything to Soldier Boy.
