"You're finally here. I've been waiting a long time for you." Thor greeted Fat Thor and the others warmly as they arrived. Without delay, he urged them to sit down.
He couldn't wait to watch the Loki series that Alex Ray had mentioned.
"This was the important thing you wanted to show us, Alex?" the older version of Tony asked, raising an eyebrow. He hadn't expected the so-called "urgent matter" to be a movie screening.
If it were just a movie, he might have preferred to spend more time with his kids.
Once everyone had gathered, Alex Ray stopped holding back. He had invited only a select few—those he had summoned, including the Tony Stark from this universe, Doctor Strange, and Thor.
This tight group was escorted by Alex to the private cinema owned by Old Tony. While they were still puzzled about the secrecy, the projector came to life, and the image on the screen left them speechless.
As familiar figures and scenes played, Old Tony blurted out in disbelief, "This... this is post-Manhattan War?"
The footage then shifted to Loki, the cunning Asgardian prince, holding the Cosmic Cube. Pursued by S.H.I.E.L.D., he unleashed the Cube's power to escape through space, finally landing in a desolate desert.
Fat Thor, who had been sipping beer lazily, froze. His smile vanished, and he slowly set his glass down, eyes fixed on the screen.
Doctor Strange, standing nearby, guessed this must be a version of Loki from a parallel universe and watched with keen interest.
As the film continued, the Avengers became increasingly engrossed. When Loki was suddenly captured by the agents of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), Fat Thor's expression darkened. He stood up, fury in his voice.
"Damn it! What kind of bullshit Time Variance Authority is this? How dare they lay a hand on my brother?! Loki, just wait. I'm coming for you—I won't let you face this alone!" His voice thundered through the room, filled with rage and loyalty.
Though he knew this wasn't his Loki—his Loki was dead—it didn't matter. No matter the version, Thor wouldn't let anyone harm his brother.
Just then, Alex Ray's calm, commanding voice cut through the emotion like ice water. "If you want to keep watching, sit down and shut up."
His words held an undeniable authority. Fat Thor, clearly reluctant, sat back down, though his eyes never left the screen.
When the TVA revealed their timeline-resetting device, a heavy silence fell over the room. Everyone was stunned by the implications.
"They can actually reset the timeline...?" Old Tony muttered, brows furrowed. "Has our universe already been reset before? Could it happen again?"
His thoughts raced with anxiety. The concept of timeline manipulation was disturbing.
Doctor Strange, wielder of the Time Stone, found it hard to believe that this organization existed—one that seemed even more skilled in time magic than he was.
Soon, the film revealed the TVA's origins: long ago, a multiversal war erupted. Countless timelines collided, tangled like a spiderweb, each struggling for dominance.
Out of this chaos emerged a group of beings later worshipped as the Time-Keepers.
These beings, wielding unimaginable power, unified the fragmented timelines into a single Sacred Timeline to restore universal order.
They were the universe's gardeners, pruning branches of time to ensure every life followed its "correct" path.
But even the most perfect system couldn't stop anomalies.
Some individuals—through greed, ignorance, or fate—strayed from the Sacred Timeline and became "variants."
To handle these threats, the Time-Keepers created the TVA—an organization outside of time, dedicated to arresting and judging those who violated the flow of time.
The TVA maintained the stability of reality itself, preventing cascading effects that could lead to multiversal collapse.
As the explanation ended, both Thors sat grim-faced. They didn't give a damn about the TVA's philosophy. Loki was all that mattered to them.
Old Tony and Young Tony exchanged glances, both visibly rattled. This level of control and surveillance over time itself wasn't just unscientific—it was terrifying.
They had dozens of questions for Alex Ray.
But the film was still playing, and despite their unease, they didn't want to interrupt. They needed answers.
In the film, Loki refused to plead guilty. Instead, he turned the blame on the Avengers, accusing them of abusing the Cosmic Cube and asking why he alone was arrested.
The TVA judge coldly replied: the Avengers' actions were "supposed" to happen. His escape, however, was not.
Loki's face twisted with a mix of despair and fury. He clenched his fists, willing the divine power that once gave him dominion over gods and men.
But within the TVA, his magic was suppressed, sealed tight like a caged beast. Powerless, he was sentenced to be reset.
Just then, someone in the courtroom objected—an old man named Mobius. An agent of the TVA, he intervened on Loki's behalf, suggesting that this Loki could be useful in capturing other dangerous variants.
Mobius was calm, friendly. He saw that Loki didn't understand his place in the grand scheme and sought to enlighten him.
He took Loki to an office and began reviewing his timeline—his greatest triumphs, darkest failures, and the fate he would have faced.
Mobius didn't preach. He offered Loki a choice: help the TVA or be erased.
While Mobius explained, Loki stole the reset device, trying to recover the Cosmic Cube and escape.
But then came the moment that shattered everything.
Loki stumbled upon a drawer full of Infinity Stones—dozens of them.
His worldview crumbled in an instant.
Not just Loki's—everyone in the private cinema felt it.
They had fought, bled, and died for the Infinity Stones. Tony had sacrificed himself for them. And here they were… locked in a TVA drawer like paperweights.
"No way… this has to be fake!"
"Is this real? Can the TVA really control the multiverse like this?"
"So we fought Thanos for these Stones… but in their eyes, it was all just child's play?"
