While Peter, suited up in the Nano Spider Suit, was still racking his brain for an escape route, the Green Goblin swooped down from the sky with murderous glee, his eyes wild and his twisted grin splitting his green-painted face.

He spread his arms wide like he meant to embrace the sky itself, then dove toward Peter with manic laughter echoing through the night.

"No reinforcements? Then die!" he shrieked.

His voice was like a banshee's wail—sharp, eerie, and chilling to the bone.

As the last note of his laugh faded, a blast of green energy exploded from his glider toward Peter, signaling the start of a coordinated assault.

It was the signal the others had been waiting for.

Electro snapped his lightning whips into the air, sizzling arcs of electricity dancing around him.

Sandman rose with the swirling grit of the bridge beneath him, summoning a dust storm that blanketed the scene in chaos.

Kraven the Hunter leveled his sniper rifle with calm precision and fired at Peter with deadly intent.

Doctor Octopus' mechanical arms lashed out furiously, pummeling toward Spider-Man in a relentless assault.

The Lizard snarled and lunged forward, charging with pure primal aggression.

High above, the Vulture circled, his sharp eyes tracking Peter's every movement, waiting to strike.

The Brooklyn Bridge transformed into a warzone.

Lightning flashed, sand surged, bullets screamed through the air—it was a nightmarish storm of destruction.

Peter darted through the chaos, dodging attacks with every ounce of agility the suit could muster. But even the Nano Suit had its limits. Sparks flew, metal warped, and piece by piece, the armor was shredded until it finally gave way, revealing Peter's face underneath.

Doctor Octopus halted, eyes narrowing in confusion as he stared at the unmasked figure. "You're not Peter. Who are you?"

The others froze as well, taking a moment to assess the unfamiliar face beneath the mask.

This wasn't the Peter Parker they knew.

Peter stared back at them, unable to understand their words—but the growing unease in their eyes was obvious. Taking advantage of their hesitation, he leapt over the edge of the bridge and plunged into the churning sea below.

He had no choice. If he stayed, he would die. His only hope now was to find Doctor Strange.

Back on the bridge, the Sinister Six watched the water in silence.

Sandman crossed his arms and scowled. "Tch. He got away."

The Vulture flapped overhead. "That wasn't our Peter."

Kraven grunted. "The spider is my prey. And no prey escapes me."

None of them seemed to grasp the full implications of what had just happened.

Simple-minded and driven by ego, they didn't question why this Peter was different.

Only the Green Goblin sensed the deeper truth. He narrowed his eyes at the spot where Peter had disappeared and slowly grinned.

"So, we've slipped into another universe… Let's cause a little chaos."

Cackling to himself, he turned and soared away on his glider, his excitement palpable.

The others followed soon after, dispersing across this strange new reality in search of fresh havoc.

Elsewhere in the multiverse, Alex Ray and Spider-Man 2099 had been deep in conversation when both of them suddenly sensed something was off.

They exchanged glances, unspoken agreement passing between them—something in this universe had shifted.

Spider-Man 2099 quickly accessed the data feed on his dimensional watch, while Alex closed his eyes and extended his Observation Haki.

His face tensed with surprise.

He could feel familiar yet altered presences: a version of Doctor Strange with stronger magical energy, a darker aura radiating from Wanda, an older Tony Stark, and a handful of villains he didn't recognize.

This wasn't just another dimensional detour. They had landed in a core universe.

"This has to be the main cinematic universe," Alex muttered. "But the timeline's wrong. Tony should be dead. So why is he here? Or is this yet another alternate where he survived?"

While he pondered, Spider-Man 2099 received a full report from the Spider-Society's data center.

"That nerd and Doctor Strange really messed up this time," he said through gritted teeth. "Strange botched the Oblivion Spell. Cracked the universe open wider than ever. And now a whole parade of villains has poured in."

He shook his head in disbelief. "We only landed here because of the dimensional fractures."

His voice brimmed with frustration. The last thing he needed was a multiversal crisis sparked by a teenager's plea to save a dead friend.

He turned to go, intending to hunt down the intruders. But Alex raised a hand, stopping him.

"What?" Spider-Man 2099 asked. "You gonna stop me?"

Alex didn't answer directly. Instead, he smiled and proposed a wager.

"Let my apprentices handle this—the two Peters. If they can clean up this mess and stabilize the situation without triggering a crisis, then in return, you let me and them help with the other canon events. Help save those Spider-Men."

Spider-Man 2099 paused, processing the offer.

Alex wasn't trying to stop him. He was offering a different solution. One that might preserve the multiverse and rewrite fate.

Alex had his own reasons—he wanted the three Spider-Men united in this universe, and he hoped that helping them save Uncle Ben would earn their trust and favor. He didn't want to be bouncing across realities nonstop. Better to empower the ones already here.

Spider-Man 2099 frowned. Was this Alex Ray really trustworthy? Could he entrust the fate of the multiverse to this chaos-wielding wildcard?

Before he could decide, his dimensional watch pinged.

"Gwen lost visual on the target. Miles and Gwen have jumped to Earth."

"Damn it!" Spider-Man 2099 hissed. Of all the variables, Miles Morales was the most troublesome. Far more unpredictable than Alex Ray.

"I accept," he said begrudgingly. "But if your apprentices screw this up, you're not allowed to tamper with any other Spider-Man's canon. Understood?"

Without waiting for a reply, he stepped into the dimensional portal and vanished.

"I've never lost a bet," Alex said to himself, smirking.
