Chapter 132 - Shadows in the VIP Room

As Reyaan stepped out from the dim VIP room, his sharp eyes immediately caught the figure of Vihaan Roy emerging from another adjoining suite, a sly, satisfied grin stretched across his face. The air between them was thick with unspoken menace, the kind only men who thrived in the shadows could share.

"Rehaan's too drunk," Vihaan said, his voice low but laced with amusement, "He didn't see my face clearly. And even if he did... well, he won't remember much either." He shrugged casually, as if recounting a trivial detail, but the weight behind his words was anything but light. "We are the darkness, Reyaan. They—the agents, the cops—they're just lights. Flickering, weak, and easily snuffed out. They can't touch what they don't even understand."

Reyaan's eyes narrowed, a slow, dangerous smile curling at his lips. "And yet, they keep trying to burn the darkness away."

Vihaan laughed softly, the sound almost cruel. "Exactly. Which makes them all the tastier. I only came with you to inform you about a connection deal that's about to go down soon." He glanced back toward the VIP room, his smile deepening into something almost sinister. "But now… what I've found here tonight… This? This was awesome."

He stepped closer to the door of the VIP room, voice dropping to a teasing growl. "Agents have become far more interesting… and a hell of a lot tastier than I imagined."

Reyaan's gaze followed his, dark and calculating. "Good. Because the game's only just begun."

Vihaan's eyes gleamed as he clapped Reyaan on the shoulder. "Let's enjoy watching them squirm."

The two men melted back into the shadows of the corridor, their presence like a silent poison lingering in the air — a warning that the night was far from over, and the predators were closing in.
