Chapter 58 - The Devil’s Reminder

Kiaan took a heavy step forward, the weight of the past pressing on every muscle in his body. The fresh wounds throbbed, but it was the tattoo and the bite marks that screamed the loudest in his mind—stark reminders of the hell he had survived.

Just as Dev and Rehaan exchanged determined glances, ready to strategize their next move, a sudden vibration cut through the tense silence. Kiaan's phone buzzed sharply in his pocket.

He hesitated, then pulled it out—his heart pounding. The screen lit up with an incoming message: a video file.

His fingers trembled as he tapped it open.

The grainy footage played—a dimly lit room, the heavy scent of dread thick in the air. Kiaan's face was clear, vivid—alone in the frame. Every twitch of pain and every flicker of fear laid bare. But there was no sign of Rex or Reyaan, only the shadow of their presence lingering.

His breath caught in his throat.

Then, text followed, cold and cruel:

"Thank you, little agent. I enjoyed a lot. See you soon."

The message sent another chill down Kiaan's spine:

"This video will be safe with me as long as you behave, baby."

Dev's eyes darkened as he saw the message flashing on Kiaan's screen. "That bastard… he's playing with you — and with us."

Rehaan's jaw tightened. "He wants control. Wants fear. But Kiaan, this just means he's scared you're coming for him."

Kiaan swallowed hard, voice low but fierce. "He thinks this will break me. That I'll be silenced. But this,"—he tapped the screen—"this only fuels the fire. If he wants a game, I'm ready to play. I'll find him. I'll stop him. And this time, I'll be the one holding the cards."

Dev nodded grimly. "Then let's make sure he never forgets who he's messing with."

The room pulsed with a new resolve as the three men stared at the screen—a haunting reminder of past torment, but also a spark lighting the path to vengeance.
