The day began, the students started to wake as the sun rises from the east , three youngsters on their way .
Lance coming from the west , Julia coming from north and Melissa from south.
All of them met each other on their way , as a surprise from the east even sophia came , all of them were shocked to see her.
Meanwhile Lennox's place
Lennox still in bed , sleeping with one leg above the blanket . His body seemed relaxed , taking long breathes with arms sideways straight.
Beside him , on the desk the book of forbidden spells lied.The light of the sun glowed on the book , its covered glistened , the light still couldn't dull the dark black cover of the book.
A breeze came through the window , opening the book and turning its pages and finally it reached the chapter.. 'elipse '.
There was a highlighted title on that page with the name 'Effects' , two simple side headings were written below.
The first one being ' Mortally Wounded' and the other was 'Blindness '.
Meanwhile at a ground at the northern part of the kingdom.
Melissa thought all of them had to bring something.
Melissa proud : I brought a sword, what did you all bring?
The other three pov confused : we had to bring something?
Lance : I .. I didn't bring anything.
Melissa saddened: Oh , its ok. Sophia ?
Sophia responded, I brought some information with me.
Melissa : I guess that's enough from a non-participant . What about you Julia.?
Julia smiled and confidently responded : I brought myself.
Melissa went up to her , patted her head ' that's not what I meant.
Anyways there's some news about the azek members. There are gonna be 5 of them .
Lance : So, why does that matter?
Sophia with a serious tone of concern : Umm, according to the contest rules , all azek members have to fight or else the contest won't be over. This means one of you have to fight two at the same time.
They all were stunned while looking at sophia , lance spoke.
' That's not fair,none of us suvive two of them at once. Even if we think about it the strongest one among us is Lennox '.
Julia looking anxious said , He even know about this for two days , does anyone know where he lives?
Everyone nodded their heads in despair.
If he isn't able to fight them we have to be strong enough to face them, let's start training. Lance said in discomfort
Melissa handed her sword to Julia saying in a soft tone , you'll need it for crucial blade.
Julia confused asked , why , don't you need it for your spell.
Melissa responded cleverly , You remember Miss Sinclair said it can be performed even without a sword.
Julia : Oh right , wow that's really thoughtful.... Wait , how would you know if you have mastered it.
Melissa stood there still with her mouth open, her mind was lost in the depths of her imagination, lance broke the silence and said.
Remember what Miss Sinclair told us, it shatters objects in its path so , why not just try to break an object.
Melissa broke out of her mind , ' Ok but I can only make a scratch on the object. It makes the objects surface turn white.'.
Lance gave her a thumbs up while smiling , turned towards Julia, ' Let's perform crucial blade but with a twist, when you try to levitate it ,ill use white ball to clash it.'
Julia : Why do you want to clash it, wouldn't itjust stop the speed of the blade.
Lance with a smirk , With that clash everytime it would increase in speed . In 7 days time you could get it to go at the speed of sound.
Julia amazed questioned him, How would that help you though?
Lance's face turned normal covered by sadness : It won't. Ill have to practise that before sleeping .
Julia said with a blank face : Please don't blow your house up.
Lance qyelled in embarrassment: THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT! *lowered his voice * I meant I would practice at a ground or outside my house.
Julia : Oh, sorry lance .
In the background Melissa started to use Empty Null on the floor, after several attempts , a part of the floor was completely turned white.
Sophia in a distance started talking , You know , you guys are lucky to not have have school today,
Julia: Huh, don't everyone have holiday today?
Sophia : Hah no , only participants of the contest get holiday but the rest still have to go .
Julia , Then how are you here?
Sophia : Well I skipped school today.
Julia sighed.
Lance and Julia started to take stance.
Lance , ' White ball ' it formed in his hand , he threw it towards Julia , she concentrated her mind on the blade and levitate it towards the ball, the speed was very slow but when they clashed ,the ball just bounced from the tip of the blade and the sword fell backwards to the ground .
Julia : huh , how did it not explode?
Lance : Thats actually because when I use white ball , its not fully completed which makes it just like a bouncing ball except the bouncing properties.
Julia : How do you know that ? Asked out of curiosity
Lance : Thats because I practised it sometime on the wall.
Time passed , they made several attempts, in between they all took breaks , after every try, the blade got faster and eventually sliced the ball in half , by that time it sliced it was almost evening.
Sophia just sat there just looking at them and supporting them.
Meanwhile at Lennox's house, lennox had just woken up and saw the book open beside his bed.
He grabbed the book and kept it on the bed, he rubbed his eyes and went to the washroom , splashed some water onto his face then headed back .
He sat down and started to read the spell 'elipse' , the more he read the more he was suprised.
Meanwhile at the ground, all four were sweating and tired from the training.
Lance asked Sophia : How are you tired, you didn't do anything?
Sophia replied , Oh idk maybe becuseI have been sitting under the sun And TRYING TO SUPPORT YOU ALL.
Lance rolled his eyes from left to right and told Julia and Melissa he was going and left.
The other three decided to leave also .
Sophia: I cant come tomorrow, I have to attend school.
Julia pov : I don't think we ever asked her to come.
They said goodbye and left.
