" Various jonin and chunin ninjas have sent reports about spoting a pire white tailed fox tailed beast "
" huh...tailed beast ? "
" Did it attack anyone ? Or harm any civillian ? "
" No .. apparently it appears during the jonins and chunins fights , it just specttates from afar "
" So ?... Whats the issue ? "
" Uhh... The thing is , the same beast is said to be present in multiple locations and all at once . Moreover no one is able to track it "
" What about thr hyugas ? "
Hiruzen turned serious upon hearing the last thing .
The anbu shook his head .
" Some hyugas have sent their reports , even when the beast is right infront of their eyes , they couldn't detect ajy trace of chakra from it , even after using the byakugan ."
" Really !? ... Hmm try to capture the beast "
Anbu nodded and left .
Hiruzen took out his spy ball and tried to check if the beast was also roaming around in konoha . But after an hour of searching he got no results .
Slowly the rumors of a ghostly tailed fox started emergung among ninjas and then even among civillians .

" What do you think it is ? " Hinata asked
" No idea " sasuke answered as he was also startled by the beast .
It has been over a year since they have been the new team 7 , hinata , naruto and sauske .
Along with kakashi , over the year they have completed over fifty D class missions and even twenty C class missions .
Kakashi under pressure from the three geniuses was forced to let go of his lazy attitude .
Hinata was extremely timid and shy at first and was prone to fainting ehen ever naruto interacted with her .
But with time , she got used to it and now even though she gets red everytime naruto compliments her , she doesnt faint outright .
Sasuke on the other hand truely deserved the title of being a genius , in just a short year he had learned to various kenjutsu , taijutsu , genjutsu and fine tuned his chakra control .
Kakashi had even created a special training routine for him , in order to teach him Chidori .
Hinata had her clans and bloodline techniques, kakashi often spared with her and helped her gain more confidence and combat ability .
Kakashi looked at the three students and smiled , hinata and sasuke are both geniuses . Finally his eyes fell on Naruto and a trace of suprise appeared on his face .
But compared to sasuke who was already a considered a genius and hinata with her hyuga lineage , Naruto broke all conventions of talent .
What suprised everyone was the incredibly precise control over chakra .
Something kakashi thought that naruto adopted from his mothers bloodline , the uzumaki .
Not only did his chakra reserves seem to be unending , but his chakra control was something that was something kakashi had never seen and never heard .
Naruto had improved in all forms of combat at an astonishing rate . From beung the dead last in class and always losing to sasuke .
Now , he and sasuke were pretty much evenly matched .
Sasuke had his sharingan , naruto his hige chakra reserves .
Kakashi felt conteng with his student .
As they returned fo konoha , kakashi made up his mind .
" Hinata ,sasuke and naruto , listen up ... "
" Yes sensei !! " The three replied
" I am both impressed and a little embarrassed by your guys progress and teamwork ... I am pretty sure that in a few kore years you'll all be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with me and maybe even surpass me .
Now enough flattering, the reason i am saying all this is because , i think all of you are now ready "
" Ready for what sensei ? " Hinata asked
Kakashi looked at everyone and smiled .
" Ofcourse its for promotion , i as your jonin instructor announce that all three of you are capable and strong enough to be chunins . So all three of you will be taking part in the upcoming chunin exams !! "
Sasuke who was not that interested in the speach was immediately attracted to the news..
' finally i a step closer !! '
Hinata was excited too but after thinking for a second she hung her head down as she got nervous .
' am i really ready ? '
" Yes you are !! "
Suddenly a hand appeared on her head and answer to her turmoil .
Feeling the warmth of the hand and tye encouraging words , hinata face turned red like a beet and she shrunk her head but didnt move it so that the hand on her head doesnt fall down .
Naruto who had been anticipatinv the chunins was also smiling , because he knew his time was coming .
' Orichimaru is coming ...heh old man your time is up '
As he remeber the chunin exams arc , his eyes turned towards sasuke .
' just a bit more and hinata and i will be alone'
' sasuke ..i helped you as much as i could , i cannot reveal everything about my powers to you but ... I am sorry indra you'll never catch up now '
Kakashi nodded as he saw all three student of his were ready and was about to leave , but stopped as he remebered something.
" Sasuke , Naruto .. it seems a year has passed and the graduation ceremony is about to take place "
With that kakashi left , hearing this , naruto had nothing to say as he looked towards sasuke .
Hinata meanwhile was smuggling closer to naruto .
" Do you want to meet her ? " Naruto asked .
Sasuke looked conflicted as he struggled to say something but held back .
" You know , its not her fault , she is just a little girl , she never had to go through what you went through ...and i think it may be good for you to meet her . I know you miss her a bit ... But ill leave the rest to you "
As naruto started to leave with Hinata , Sasuke called out .
" what about you ? " He asked .
" Of course i am going "

Naruto turned back his head and grinned .
