Chapter 15 - The Farewell in the void

She stared back.

Directly.

Into my Celestial Eye.

My breath stopped.

That shouldn't have been possible.

The Celestial Eye was invisible to existence itself—an observation art hidden beyond ordinary perception. Even the Servants of Demi-Gods had never once detected its gaze.

Yet she was staring straight at it.

Straight at me.

My mind struggled to understand what I was witnessing. She was light-years away, drifting somewhere in the silent ocean of space, far beyond the atmosphere of Planet Chante.

And yet…

I knew.

Deep in my bones, I knew.

She was coming.

My heart tightened with a cold, creeping fear. I swallowed and spoke softly to the gathering around me.

"…She is coming."

The circle of the Celestial Eye trembled as the teachers and clan heads stiffened in alarm.

And then—

She smiled.

Not a gentle smile.

Not a human one.

A smile that felt like the universe itself had lost its balance.

Her lips moved.

Across the infinite vacuum of space, the word reached us—distorted yet clear.

"Farewell."

Then—

SWOOSH.

Space folded.

Her presence vanished.

Just like that.

Gone.

The Celestial Eye searched frantically across the solar system, but there was nothing—no energy trace, no distortion, no ripple in space.

She had disappeared.

Around me, the teachers exchanged stunned glances.

Rose stepped forward nervously.

"Teacher… what did she mean by farewell?"

I exhaled slowly, trying to calm the storm in my chest.

"…I don't know."

My eyes remained fixed on the celestial circle.

"But I will keep watching."

The Eye continued scanning the solar system.

Then—

I saw something.

Two figures.

Two powerful presences entering the system at terrifying speed.

Servants of Lussguard.

They were heading straight toward her.

And then—

My vision went black.

The Celestial Eye shattered like glass inside my mind.

Pain exploded through my head and my knees hit the ground.

Far beyond the borders of the solar system…

Two figures traveled through the silent depths of space.

The Servants of the Demi-God Lussguard.

One spoke first.

"Zain… after Haishi died, I heard Sam wants us to deal with this girl."

The second servant chuckled coldly.

"What do you think?"

The first servant shrugged.

"Let's do it. If she defeated Haishi, then we'll expect something interesting from this… thing."

They accelerated toward the location where Haishi had vanished.

But something was wrong.

The moment they entered the coordinates—

Liry, the 11th Servant of Lussguard, disappeared.

Not killed.

Not destroyed.

Just—

Gone.

No explosion.

No energy release.

No trace.

As if reality itself had forgotten he existed.

Zain stopped instantly.

His senses exploded outward, scanning across dimensions, timelines, and universes.

He searched across entire multiversal layers trying to find Liry.

Nothing.

Then—

Just outside Multiverse-10, he saw her.

A dark figure.

Standing in silence.

Her eyes stared at him like blades.

Zain froze.

"Ayha… dha… d-don't come any closer…"

His voice trembled.

She smirked.

Then she spoke.

One word.

Not in any known language.

But in Arcanica.

"Varaq'thel."

(Vanquished.)

The word shattered existence.

Zain turned to ash instantly.

Just like that—

Two more Servants were erased.

Three servants of the Demi-God were now gone.

Leaving only nine remaining.

And with that…

A new chapter of fate began to unfold.
