Chapter 233 - Chapter 230: Coaxing No Jutsu

"Mei was right… this time, I really do intend to go somewhere far away." Guts said, exhaling a long breath.

"Huh!?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing, but she held back and waited for him to continue.

"But… it'll only be about two months at most for you guys. Just think of it as me being willful, hahaha!" Guts scratched his head with an awkward laugh, trying to pass it off lightly.

Unfortunately for him, his wives weren't buying it. They exchanged glances, smirked, and cornered him with sweet voices that were anything but harmless.

"Then take us with you. What? You wouldn't dare refuse, right?" Tsunade said, smiling sweetly, but her hand twitched ever so slightly—like a woman ready to throw a punch.

"That's right," Kurenai added, her smile gentle yet firm. "It's been a while since we've traveled. The children would love it too."

At her words, the kids perked up.

"Yeah, Dad, take us too!" Rakan said, cheeks puffed from food, clearly thrilled at the idea.

"Hmph… I'll go too. Reluctantly." Erza snorted, folding her arms before turning her head away. "Don't get me wrong, it's not like I want to go with Papa or anything… Mom just said so."

"I'd love to come along too. Papa wouldn't say no, right?" Hina tilted her head, flashing her cutest smile, clearly trying to charm him into agreement.

Kanna, on the other hand, didn't say a word. She simply stared at him—her eyes intense, her message clear.

Stare… Stare…

Anko and Mei didn't even need words either their knowing smiles and the heavy pressure they released were enough to make Guts break into a sweat.

For a moment, he was caught between amusement and helplessness. He wanted to take them. If it were possible, he absolutely would. But… it wasn't that simple.

The System had been clear: if he traveled to the One Piece world, he wouldn't be able to return until the "plot" there was complete.

Sure, technically he could force a return instantly… but that would make him lose the coordinates of the One Piece world forever. And while that didn't matter compared to his family, there was another catch—

If he did finish the story there, just like in the Naruto world, then the two worlds could be permanently linked. He could freely come and go. He could take his wives and children across for fun, give them all a grand adventure in a world even more suited to exploration than this one.

The thought of Shisui, Might Guy, and the others experiencing One Piece for the first time… that alone might be worth it.

"Believe me when I say this," Guts finally said, his expression softening into a sincere smile. "When I return, I'll bring back a surprise so big that you'll think every second of this was worth it."

He paused, then added, "And don't get the wrong idea… it's not someplace I can just bring everyone to right now. You understand my abilities, so you should know what I mean. If I could—"

But he never finished.

Because at that very moment, his entire family suddenly formed a suspicious little huddle, whispering among themselves in low voices.

"…?" Guts tilted his head, baffled, but decided not to eavesdrop. He stood there awkwardly while the whispering continued.

After a while, the group broke apart. Kanna lingered, staring at him with a reluctant, almost pained look—before turning away.

Woosh!

The sound of wind swept the courtyard as, one by one, they all left him behind.

"…."

Guts froze, his smile stiffening. His face twitched slightly.

He had expected anger, sadness, maybe even tears. But this? Silent treatment? Cold violence?!

"This… this must be Tsunade's doing," he muttered bitterly. "Only she would think of something this cruel."

Still, after standing there for a while, he sighed, straightened up, and walked off. He wouldn't leave so abruptly—not yet. There were still things he had to settle in this world before departing.

And most importantly, his family. With them like this, he had no choice but to coax them back into his arms.

---

After Guts walked off, what he didn't know was that Tsunade and the others, who had just dispersed, immediately regrouped... still watching his retreating figure.

"Will Dad be angry if we do this?" Hina asked softly, worry flickering in her eyes. She didn't want her father upset over something that might just be a childish stunt.

The other kids also turned to their mothers, concern written all over their faces.

"Don't worry, he won't be," Tsunade declared confidently, waving her hand with a smug grin. "And if he does dare get angry… then we'll teach him a lesson!"

"…We?" Kurenai raised a brow, arms crossing as she stepped back. "Sorry, but I won't be joining in on that one."

Her tone was calm but firm. She knew Guts better than anyone.

Tsunade could act tough all she wanted for the kids' sake, but when push came to shove, if she really stood against him, she'd get flattened.

Kurenai had no intention of being collateral damage again.

"Kurenai's right," Mei added with a sly smile, her words sugar-coated but tinged with mockery. "You're very brave, Tsunade. Strong, too. Surely you don't need any of our assistance, isn't that right?"

A vein throbbed visibly on Tsunade's forehead. She and Mei had always been at odds, and this was just another poke at the hornet's nest.

Tsunade's eyes flicked to Anko for backup.

"Don't look at me." Anko raised both hands in surrender instantly. "I'm not going either. Last time we followed your lead, he wiped the floor with us. Nope, I value my life."

Tsunade's confident front cracked for a second, embarrassment flickering in her eyes. But when she noticed the kids' doubtful stares, she immediately struck a heroic pose—hands on her hips, chest out, her grin wide.

"Hahaha! No worries. I can handle him all by myself!"

"As expected of Mom!" Erza puffed out her chest proudly, clearly impressed. "She's not afraid of Dad at all!"

Hina, however, just glanced at her other mothers' faces, noted their wry smiles, and sighed softly. She patted Erza's shoulder with a look of pity, shaking her head.

"Huh!? What's with that look? Why are you so disappointed!?" Erza demanded, completely lost.

Hina ignored her and turned instead. "What do you think, Rakan—"

But her brother was nowhere to be seen.

"…."

"That idiot probably slipped out to eat and laze around again. What a bum!" Erza huffed, her arms crossed in irritation.

"…Mmm." Kanna, unusually, gave a small nod of agreement, her sharp gaze silently taking in the whole scene as if analyzing every detail.

---

After leaving his family, Guts soon crossed paths with Hinata—the very person he had plans for.

"Sensei, it's been a while," Hinata greeted him with a gentle smile. She had matured beautifully over the years, her charm shining through.

"Hahaha, Hinata, you've truly become a beauty," Guts said sincerely, his voice warm.

"I… I, umm… thank you, Sensei." Hinata's cheeks reddened, her shy nature slipping through despite her mature appearance.

"I don't see the other troublemaker. Where's Hanabi?" Guts asked, his tone amused but laced with genuine curiosity. That girl had caused him no small amount of headaches over the years.

"She… seems to be out on a mission," Hinata replied after a moment's hesitation.

Guts narrowed his eyes slightly, sensing something off, but let it go. His gaze lingered on her—not just her face, but her eyes.

They had fully bloomed into the perfect Tenseigan, radiating a brilliance that only enhanced her beauty.

She had complete mastery now, her power easily rivaling that of a Six Paths-level shinobi.

"Then let's go. I'll explain along the way. Before that, we'll stop by Shisui's place," Guts said, already heading forward. Hinata followed without question.

Along the road, Guts shared fragments of his plan. Hinata's eyes widened in shock, but when she thought about her own situation, she silently nodded.

Meanwhile, in Shisui's home

Wearing an apron, Shisui moved with practiced ease in the kitchen, chopping and stirring with almost professional skill.

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around him from behind. He smirked helplessly. "Yuki, you know I'm cooking. What if it gets ruined?"

But Yuki didn't reply—she only hugged him tighter. "I missed you."

"Hahaha… what are you talking about? It's only been an hour," Shisui chuckled, careful not to spill anything.

"It doesn't matter. I miss you when I miss you," Yuki said firmly, her arms tightening.

Shisui sighed, knowing resistance was pointless. She had always been this clingy. Soon, he finished cooking, turned around, and hugged her back.

Only then did Yuki finally release him, walking toward the table with a cheerful smile.

He followed her with a gentle smile of his own. They had been married for a few years now.

He still remembered how it all started... back during Guts-sensei's wedding, when Yuki had nervously approached him to thank him.

From then on, she had arranged countless "chance" meetings, her clumsy excuses so transparent he hadn't even realized her intentions at first.

The day she confessed, he had been thrown into turmoil, unsure of how to respond. Luckily, Guts had been nearby.

One solid smack to the back of the head and a shove later, and Shisui found himself hugging Yuki awkwardly.

Truthfully, he had already liked her back then—this shy, clumsy, but gentle and kind girl.

Looking back now, he still felt embarrassed whenever Yuki complained about his density, retelling the trouble she went through just to ask him out.

"Honey? What are you thinking?" Yuki tilted her head, noticing his distant look. Her tone carried a hint of worry.

"Ah, nothing. I just—" Shisui began, but suddenly froze. A familiar presence brushed against his senses.

Ding-dong.

The doorbell rang. Yuki moved to answer it, but Shisui stopped her, stepping forward himself. She followed behind curiously.

When the door opened—

"Yo. Seems I came at the wrong time, huh?" Guts greeted casually, raising a hand with a grin. He could tell he'd barged in during their quality time.

"No, no! How can that be, Lord Guts? We were just about to eat…" Yuki hurried forward before Shisui could speak, her smile bright as she invited him inside.

"Hahaha, I'd love to, but I'm here to talk business with Shisui. Another time, maybe," Guts replied cheerfully.

Still, his chest warmed at her words. She hadn't forgotten his little push all those years ago that saved her confession.

Yuki was truly grateful to Guts—both as the hero of the world and as the man who made her happy ending possible.

Back then, when Shisui froze at her confession, she had almost run away in tears. If not for him… she might never have had this life.

"Sensei, is something wrong?" Shisui asked, face turning serious.

"Don't worry. Just a small thing. I'll explain on the way," Guts waved off with his usual carefree tone.

Shisui exhaled in relief at his calm demeanor. He turned back, exchanged a few quiet words with Yuki, and when he finally returned, his face was still a little flushed.

Guts teasing grin said everything. Without a word, Shisui groaned and followed.
