I woke up the next morning, lost in thoughts, Justin's words still echoed in my mind, soft and certain, the kind that left their imprint long after the sound faded. We're unbreakable, Elena. Remember that. And I did. Because I wasn't walking this path alone.
Because Justin Shawn loved me through the fire, loved me to the moon and back.
Because we were unbreakable. Together.
I found myself staring at him, memorizing the curve of his jaw, the quiet strength in his hands, the storm of tenderness in his eyes when they met mine.
Then, like a whisper at the back of my mind, the thought slipped in: Is this really the cruel Justin everyone once warned me about?
