Chapter 7 - The New Connection 2

Suddenly, Violet stopped walking and turned to face her. His eyes locked onto hers, and she saw a deep longing there. "Shin," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

She felt a shiver run down her spine as he took a step closer. His face was inches from hers, and she could feel the warmth of his breath on her skin.

"I've wanted to do this for a long time," Violet whispered, his eyes burning with intensity.

And then, in a movement that seemed almost slow motion, Violet leaned in and kissed her. Shin heart soared as their lips touched, and she felt a rush of emotions that he had never experienced before.

The world around her melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the magic of their first kiss. Shin knew at that moment that she was falling deeply in love with Violet, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.

As their lips touched, Shin felt a rush of happiness and excitement. But it was short-lived. A loud rumbling sound echoed through the air, and the ground began to shake.

Violet's eyes widened in horror as he pulled away from Shin. "It's the forest," he whispered. "It's collapsing."

Shin eyes followed Violet's gaze to the forest, where a massive landslide was unfolding. Trees were toppling, and rocks were tumbling down the hillside.

Red's scream pierced the air as she stumbled backward, her eyes fixed on the forest. "No, no, no," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Violet grabbed Shin hand, and they ran towards Red. But it was too late. A massive boulder came crashing down, pinning Red beneath its weight.

Shin scream was drowned out by the sound of the landslide. Violet's face was etched with horror as he tried to lift the boulder, but it was too heavy.

Red's eyes locked onto Shin, filled with pain and regret. "I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I should have..."

But her words were cut off as her eyes glazed over, and her body went limp. Shin felt a wave of grief wash over her, and she collapsed to the ground, Violet holding her tightly.

The landslide finally came to a stop, leaving behind a trail of destruction and devastation. Shin world was shattered, her heart broken into a million pieces.

Violet's arms wrapped around her, holding her close as she sobbed uncontrollably. "I'm so sorry, Shin," he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "I should have protected her."

But it was too late. Red was gone, taken from them in an instant. Shin world would never be the same again.

As the reality of Red's death sank in, Shin grief became overwhelming. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of sorrow, unable to find a lifeline to cling to. Violet held her close, his own eyes red-rimmed from tears.
