Arcane Drifters – Chapter 105: "Seal 1 – The Shattered Dream World"
The sky within the Shattered Dream World is not blue…
It's a swirling sea of broken memories, frozen screams, and twisted illusions.
This is not a place.
It's a mind trap dimension — created long ago to hide forbidden powers.
Here, even gods go mad.

A tear in the space rips open.
From it walks Arcane Lord Nelgar, wreathed in spiraling blue fire.
> "I am the Death Spiral Mage," he whispers.
"No dream can contain me."
But as he steps deeper into the Dream World…
He sees strange things.
A version of himself.
A child calling his name.
A battlefield where he was defeated.
> "Illusions," he says calmly.
"I have no fear."

Deeper inside, Lord Valtherix enters next, burning everything in his path.
His flame rips apart shadows, turns dream-hunters to ash.
He roars:
> "I will find the Seal — or burn this world to dust!"

Suddenly, the sky flashes white.
And a Guardian appears.
A being not human… not Arcane…
But something ancient and pure.
It is called: The Dreamkeeper.
> "You do not belong here," it says calmly.
"This world is protected. Even by death itself."
Valtherix attacks.
But his flames are absorbed by the air.
Nelgar launches dark chains.
But they wrap around him instead.
> "You forgot," the Dreamkeeper says,
"This is a world built by the soul of the Arcane King himself… before his corruption."
> "And even he feared its secrets."

Meanwhile, outside the dimension…
The other Arcane Lords watch through a seal gate.
Lady Xerna frowns.
> "The Seal is rejecting them…"
> "It may have chosen a protector."

Inside the chaos, Valtherix's body starts cracking.
The Dreamkeeper lifts its hand — a glowing orb floats from the sky.
The First Soul Seal.
It glows with red and gold flame.
> "This is not for the wicked," the Guardian warns.
But Nelgar, wounded, screams:
> "We don't need to survive—just deliver it!"
He sacrifices half his form to launch a desperate void spike—
CRACK!!
The seal shatters.
And the First Soul Fragment is ripped out.

The Dreamkeeper vanishes.
The Dream World collapses.
And Nelgar and Valtherix return through the portal—half-broken but smiling.
They drop the orb into the Black Coffin.
1 Seal Placed.
The heartbeat grows louder.
> Thump. Thump. THUMP.
And Shen, sleeping on Earth, suddenly awakens, drenched in sweat.
> "One of them… just got stronger."
