Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4 – OMNI PATH SYSTEM

DING~

Jean froze.

His heartbeat quickened as a soft hum echoed in his skull—followed by a glowing holographic interface forming in mid-air.

And then, a voice—cool, collected, and a little smug—spoke directly into his mind:

{Welcome, Host. I am The Omni Path System.}

"Took you long enough." Jean huffed. "Wait… you talk?" Jean blinked.

{Of course. Did you think I was some second-rate status screen? I am your guide, your forge—and your judge.}

Jean grinned. "You're cocky. I like it."

{Confidence is earned. Let's see if you'll be worthy of it.}

Jean stared at the quests.

"...One hundred each? Are you trying to kill me? I'm six. SIX!"

"...You're better hope the reward's good. If they aren't...." Jean threatened.

{Big Words For A Kid.}

Jean protested "I'm not a kid."

{Then quit whining about your physical age.}

"This is gonna be hell." Jean muttered in frustration.

Jean's jaw dropped.

What is this....

This is too OP.

{You haven't seen anything —this is just the beginning.}

"So if I do the daily quests every day, I just… keep stacking growth? Exponentially?" Jean muttered astound.

{Exactly. Keep up the momentum and this world won't know what hit it.}

Break… and it all crumbles.}

Jean muttered, "Hardcore. I like it."

{Like what you see —Then stop talking and get to work.}

---

Jean chuckled to himself, feeling the fire reignite in his chest.

Six years. He waited six long years for this moment. Reincarnated into a wealthy, powerful family—but powerless himself.

No anymore—he is going to reach the top—even if he dies trying.

---

Knock Knock

His thoughts snapped back to the real world.

"Who is it?"

"Young master, it's me—Rachel. Master and Mistress are asking for you in the dining hall," a sweet voice called.

Jean mind raced. "Crap. I forgot about breakfast."

He ran to the door, opened it—and came face-to-face with a dark-skinned Barbie in a maid outfit.

Rachel: tall, elegant, curves that defied gravity, and a face so gorgeous that it didn't make sense. Jean's little Virgin heart almost gave out.

{You are so not ready for this world.}

"Shut it," Jean muttered to the system.

"Had enough, young master?" Rachel said, amused at his flustered expression.

"Ahem. Let's not keep Mom and Dad waiting," Jean said, walking ahead—very, very quickly.

---

The dining hall ahead—the doors screaming luxury. Two black-suited guards opened the double doors for him.

Rachel stopped just short of entering, throwing a final grenade of temptation over.

"I'll be right here, young master~"

Jean stumbled. Why did I die a virgin? he lamented dramatically.

---

Inside, the air was warm. Luxurious. Familiar.

"Come here, my little bundle of joy. How was your sleep, hmm?" cooed Sara Holland—mother, model, walking perfection.

Jean smiled. "Sweet as sugar, Mom. What about you?"

"It was good thanks for asking." She replied. A smile on her beautiful face.

"Looks like I'm invisible again," grumbled Tyler, his father, half-hidden behind a newspaper—wearing a sleek green tuxedo.

Sara shot him a glare. "Put the paper down and eat."

Tyler lowered the paper. A smirk playing on his lips. Making Sara blush slightly.

Jean sighed. There's a kid here you know.

{A kid?}

*Shut up.* Jean hissed.

"So, Jean," Tyler said, "Ready to start school?"

Sara leaned in slightly, awaiting his answer.

Jean thought for a bit.

He smiled innocently. "I'd love to! I think it's about time I made new friends."

Sara and Tyler melted.

*Been a child is fun.*
