[Rosie's POV]
I was startled for a moment at his appraisal and even if he sounded icy, I still felt flustered that he recognized my presence... maybe Hera's presence.
I can tell I misjudged him to be a womanizer, when he claims to be empowering them, or maybe it's just Hera trying to paint a good picture of him.
Nevertheless, he still restricted my movement, which he has to answer for.
The delegates already seated and eager to begin smiled with a nod.
I guess they're in a happy mood.
Hera and I were still standing, staring at everyone gathered, but Damien snapped his fingers, indicating that we should join him at the table.
Hera was swift to sit beside him, and the only space I got was between two elders, which I'm fine with.
"Come sit beside me," he ordered as I was halfway seated between these two men.
I tried to gesture to him that I was fine, but he wasn't looking; rather, he picked up the cutlery.
A courtier had quickly secured a seat beside Damien for me.
