Chapter 14 - Chapter Fourteen: Sorry

4th Ball: Prince found himself facing two new batsmen after dismissing Badoni and Kishan, Rishabh Pant and some other boy had come on to bat now, with Pant at the striker's end. Prince ran in, once again covering his bowling hand with the other, to hide what spin he'll be using, and as his foot stopped before the crease, Prince brought his arm down like an arc of destruction and let loose a ball that looked like a floater, but as it reached Pant, it bounced, and with the deceptive nature of a flipper, bounced just past the off stump, leaving Pant a bit shook.

5th Ball: After the events of the last ball, Pant looked more nervous than ever, and Prince wanted to seize the opportunity... He came in faster this time, more aggressive, forgetting all about hiding his spin and the ball came thundering down to Pant's pads, but Prince had been outplayed, Pant brought his bat down and sweeped the ball high and out of the field for a six, Prince could do nothing but watch on, a bit disappointed at his foolishness.

6th Ball:

< Guys... sorry, this is what I was writing when I went on a small, unannounced hiatus (understatement I know)... I'm going to try and update two or three times a week from now on... I have board exams here in England... anyway I cannot pick this story up from where I left it... so for the next chapter which I will release, most likely tommorow, please recognise this current match as being finished and that Prince's team had won... sorry for the inconvenience guys, but I am back now, with the determination to make this book the best cricket novel on this website/app... thank you all for your relentless support... please use this opportunity to comment and give me ideas on how the story should go.... do you guys want a time skip, or do we slog out his entire joruney... love interests... friends, realisms, and moreover, we must realise Prince's family is rich, should we add business prospects to the future chapoter prep... please please please, what i need most now is your support so I can get this book back on track! Much Love... -Author >
