Golden Crocodile Douluo waved his hand toward the doors. "Since you've heard his voice, then go in," he said calmly as he stepped aside.
Ling Yuan hesitated for a moment but turned and left without another word.
As she walked away, she sent a private spiritual message. "Why did you let her in?"
Golden Crocodile Douluo replied, "She's only at level 10, likely just awakened recently. Maybe she gained the favor of a god when her Martial Spirit awakened." He paused, then added, "Either way, we'll know soon enough when they meet."
With that, he gently closed the door behind Bai Xian'er.
Inside, the room was quiet and softly lit. Bai Xian'er looked ahead—and froze.
Standing there was Li Shen.
He had jet-black hair, warm amber eyes, and a composed, almost serene expression that didn't quite match his young age. He looked no older than six.
Still, Bai Xian'er felt it.
The pink screen of fate flashed again in her mind, and her heart trembled.
He is… my future life companion. But he's already surrounded by three girls, she whispered internally, almost in disbelief—especially after seeing the three girls. Two appeared normal enough, but one clearly looked at Li Shen with open, undisguised affection.
Just then, her system popped up.

She nearly choked at the absurdity of it.
What kind of ridiculous system is that? she thought. Three wives and four concubines? Even emperors don't push things that far.
Her lips twitched despite herself. And now I'm supposedly one of them? There are already three girls… and I'd be the fourth?

She sighed internally. Even gods shouldn't play like this…
"Who are you?" Li Shen asked, snapping her out of her spiraling thoughts. She quickly straightened and replied formally, "Li Shen, I came to meet you." She raised her hand, revealing the Spirit Certification Scroll.
Li Shen took the scroll and glanced at it before narrowing his eyes slightly. "Did Uncle Ma send you? Are you two related?"
"No," Bai Xian'er answered. "A voice guided me. It told me I should find you."
Li Shen blinked. A voice? What voice?
He had once fabricated a "divine voice" to cover up the truth behind his system. But now… a real god-instructed individual had arrived. He wasn't sure how to react.
Unbeknownst to him, Bai Xian'er's system was a subordinate branch of his main system—connected without his knowledge.
After a moment of thought, he asked cautiously, "Then… what did your god tell you?"
"To find you," she replied simply. "But… you should know, I only have level 2 innate spirit power. Will you still accept me now?" She looked directly at him, her tone calm yet uncertain.
Nearby, Mei Mei and Yu both frowned.
"Of course he won't," Yu said sharply. "We all have innate level 10 spirit power. She'll just drag us down. In the end, she'll become a burden."
But Bai Xian'er didn't respond. She simply kept her gaze fixed on Li Shen.
Li Shen turned toward her and said, "Well, if your god sent you, that changes things. Maybe our gods are friends. As for your level… I can fix it." He reached into his robe and took out a small, golden pill.
"Here. Eat this."
Bai Xian'er stared at the golden pill in her hand, stunned. So… these golden pills are truly from him!
"Xue'er, take her to your room," Li Shen instructed.
Bai Xue stepped forward with a gentle smile. "Your name is Bai Xian'er? Mine is Bai Xue. Looks like we share the same surname." She took Bai Xian'er's hand warmly. "Come, I'll help you take the pill and guide you."
As the two girls left, Mei Mei couldn't help but approach Li Shen again.
"Are you really going to accept her?" she asked softly.
Li Shen nodded. "Yes."
Inwardly, he thought: If she was chosen by a god—unlike me, who is acting—then she must have great luck and potential. I'm already the opposite of Tang San… so it's better if she joins me. Or… given Tang San 'son of destiny' aura, she might side with Tang San.
"I know your pills are great," Mei Mei said calmly, arms crossed, "but I don't think they'll change her situation that much."
Li Shen gave a slight smile. "I have other things besides pills too."
As he spoke, both Ling Yuan and Xiao Minwu's eyes lit up slightly. Though they didn't say anything aloud, they secretly hoped he might offer them something as well.
Hmm… I should start working on the alchemy path now, Li Shen thought.
He mentally opened the system interface. But where should I start? I have skills—then what now?

Both girls stood up abruptly. "Aren't you coming with us?" they asked in unison.
Li Shen shook his head. "I have something else to take care of. I can't go with you this time."
"Where are you going?" Mei Mei asked curiously.
"I'm heading to the blacksmith's shop," Li Shen replied simply before turning to leave.
As he exited, he found Ling Yuan speaking to a middle-aged man with a commanding presence. The man stood tall with a refined aura, his eyes sharp and composed. When he noticed Li Shen approaching, he turned to Ling Yuan and asked, "Who is he?"
Ling Yuan smiled. "This is Golden Crocodile Douluo Xiao Wenwu, your second official guardian. Since you're now recognized as Spirit Hall's Holy Son, you'll be assigned two guardians."
Li Shen nodded respectfully toward Xiao Wenwu. "It's an honor to meet you, Golden Crocodile Douluo."
The man let out a hearty laugh and waved a hand. "No need to be so formal. You can just call me Grandpa if you want."
Li Shen nodded politely, though inwardly he was still wondering why Spirit Hall would assign someone as ancient and powerful as Golden Core Douluo as his personal protector.
