After organizing his thoughts and confirming the systems functions, Jin felt a wave of drowsiness hit him.
'Sleepy… but can't sleep…'
*Sigh*
'Oh right!'
"Ai?"
"Yes Jin-sama? Do you need anything?" Ai suddenly blurred in front of him.
Jin scanned Ai from head to toe and his eyes landed on her thighs…
"Lap pillow!" Jin anxiously voiced out with his eyes closed... and slowly opened one eye to peek at Ai's reaction.
'J-J-Jin is just too cute!—don't lose composure! Maintain your duties as a maid!' Ai thought that she had a perfect mask on… the sparkling on her eyes and her lips fighting the urge to smile were seen by Jin.
Jin suddenly felt his vision had been altered… at one moment he was looking at Ai's cute fac the next moment his vision were filled with the ceiling along with Ai dotingly ruffling his fair.
'Fast! Even with my Ultimate-class [Mental] I couldn't see what happened!!'
'Is it because my cognitive abilities hasn't adapted yet??' Jin's thoughts were running when he felt another wave of drowsiness hit him.
Facing Ai's stomach he snuggled closer until he felt comfortable and… fell asleep.
Jin did not realize that he was currently receiving the legendary lap pillow by Hayasaka Ai herself!
He had felt too comfortable and didn't realize that he is slowly becoming addicted to sleeping!
Jin's body slowly rose and fell with every breath, Ai smiled contentedly.
'Jin-sama… How wonderful~' Ai is really happy that Jin has "woken up" and couldn't help but look forward to the future.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
Hearing a knock on the door Ai narrowed her eyes, glinting with utter disgust as if looking at trash! Frowning she with a thought
'YOU DARE DISTURB MY—'
The door opened to reveal Ravel walking in.
Ai's face smoothened to a poker face as she went back to play with Jin's head, gently poking his cheeks and playing with his hair.
"Brother is still sleeping??" Ravel pouted as she looked at her brother sleeping peacefully, his head snugly placed on Ai's lap.
'I wanna give my brother a lap pillow too!'
"Hmpf! Stupid idiot broth—" Ravel stopped speaking as she saw Ai glare at her if she dared to disrupt Jin's sleep with her stupidity.
Ai's eyes held a dangerous glint, making a silence gesture with her index finger in front of her lips.
'I was just kidding! I was even whispering!' Ravel sweated, as she put raised her hands up in mock defeat.
Ravel could only sigh as she decided to wait for Jin's examination with Lord Beelzebub.

After awhile Rias finally came back, not alone but with her brother Sirzechs.
Rias saw Ravel standing on the side with a dejected face and Jin peacefully sleeping with his head on Ai's lap.
"Ai, wake Jin up"Rias walked closer to Jin and Ai.
Ai tucked her hair behind her ear as she softly pinched Jin's cheek.
"Jin-sama" Ai gently called out
"Hngg"
"Jin-sama"
"Hmm" Jin hummed with annoyance as he adjusts his head on Ai's lap.
"Jiiiin-samaaaa"
'What is it!' Jin opened his eyes as he looksd for the culprit that dared interupt his sleep!
He looked sideways and saw Rias bent down as she smiled at Jin, her eyes squinting happily. He buried his face on Ai's abdomen, harrumphing loudly in mock anger.
"Hya!—" Ai screamed a cute sound, caught off guard by Jin's actions… she didn't expect Jin to suddenly—
"Alright, alright… Jin it's time to stand up or else you won't get your reward—"
"Let's go, you guys are too slow" Jin blurred appearing by the door as he looked at them with impatience.
Rias stifled a laugh and quickly covered her mouth with a hand as she walked up to hug Jin's arm.
"Good boy!"
Jin's face flushed red.

The others looked at Jin's antics amusedly.
"Hahaha, I didn't expect my brother-in-law to have such an interesting personality! That's great!" Sirzechs laughed as he strode away leading them.
Ai and Ravel left the room and couldn't come with them so they could only hope that Jin's examination bore good results.

Inside what seems to be an office Sirzechs had already contacted Ajuka.
"Alright, you can teleport now" a voice called out in a magic circle on Sirzechs hand.
Dismissing the call, Sirzcechs gesture Rias and Jin to get closer to him. Engulfing the three of them in a red magic circle.

Underground, Astaroth Territory.
In waht seems to be a laboratory with many magical and sci-fi items, a man with green hair slicked back with light blue eyes stood in front of a red magic circle on the ground, showing three light figures.
"You're here… welcome!" Ajuka smiled kindly at the three people waving his hand in greeting.
Jin looked around curiously, the laboratory was big and had an odd mix of a futuristic and medieval vibe. Strangely it made sense to him.
"Indeed! Such a miracle! You look like a completely different person!" Ajuka when he saw Jin was both surprised and excited, after all he had been studying the soul because of Sirzechs request to specifically "Cure" Jin.
Ajuka had no reason to reject Sirzechs at all and it even lead to him improving the Evil Pieces system due to his research.
"Indeed, Rias tell him Jin's symptoms after "waking up"" Sirzechs motioned for Rias to further add detail to Jin's sudden "awakening."
"To Jin's perspective the whole time for over 18 years, he felt like himself in front of a television in which he had no control whatsoever… also lately Jin always felt sleepy and a sudden wave of drowsiness would hit him everynow and then" Rias slowly explained a bit of Jin's situation.
"Oh? Always sleep you say… weird, Jin lay down here in a corpse position and—" Ajuka instructed with full detail, clearly forgetting that Jin didn't need it anymore.
"Ah! Yes… err like this?" Jin anxiously followed Ajuka's instructions.
"Apologies, its just that last time if I didn't give you a detailed instruction you would literally lie down on the spot facing down and—" Ajuka apologized… still not used to Jin's "normal" behavior.
In what looks like an MRI Scanning machine, Jin felt a movement and his body slowly floated and went inside a hole.
When his feet was the only thing sticking out from the machine a series of Magic circles with different colors and sizes appeared on his body.
Ajuka had built this machine to purposely scan the soul and in turn understand the principles that it carried, he felt that he had merely scratched the surface when it comes to his discoveries involving the soul.
Ajuka was surprised to see that Jin's soul now perfectly looked normal… compared to when he last scanned Jin's soul, this time he felt that what used to be an almost soulless body.
Jin's soul now fully engulfed his stature and it seems to be steadily growing stronger? Or perhaps stabilizing? Unsure, Ajuka could only conclude that indeed… Jin has now unlocked his—
"This—this is…" Ajuka frowned as he carefully checked for abnormalities… when he saw—Jin's soul felt more like a being that Reincarnated into a devil but differed from the Evil Pieces process, rather than a soul born from a devil itself.
"No… this looks more like a dead soul?" Except for the perfectly normal soul that Jin had… his soul eerily resembles those from the Soul Society—a Pantheon from Japan, they were reclusive and did not care for other pantheons.
He had been given help by a person that heavily specializes in the study of the soul from Karakura Town, without this person he couldn't hope to study the soul using magic.
'It seems that instead of a being reincarnated into a devil… its more like Jin's soul evolved towards becoming stronger but has hit the limit? I should've focused more instead of playing with my Kankara formula' Ajuka was unsure of Jin's predicament and could only dish out a vague conclusion.
Ajuka then switched the examination from the soul to a normal scan through the body, and feared the worst.
Ajuka had known that Jin couldn't sleep at all from the first time he physically scanned Jin's body but kept it to himself and just instructed Jin that when told to sleep he should shut his consciousness off… He hoped that Jin from before understood this.
*Sigh*
After seeing the results Ajuka let out a heavy sigh.
'It seems that he was forcefully awaken when the locked soul couldn't take it anymore, amazingly he held out for 18 years' Ajuka was unsure on how to explain this to Rias.
Luckily Jin hasn't seen himself in the mirror… because if he did, all he could see was a man with a very pale skin (literally) devoid of blood and he looked like a panda with his blackened eyes, as if he was about to die… although the moment he woke up he was getting better and better.

After organizing his newfound conclusions, Ajuka had alread dismissed Jin from the machine and guided him to sit on a chair.
Ajuka then told Jin to wait there while he discuss his findings with Rias and Sirzechs.
Jin nodded and hoped that he wouldn't get found out that he had replaced—Jin shook his head, he had already concluded that he is now Jin Phenex, accepting this as the reality.

"Jin's soul is more "complete" in fact his soul is incredibly perfect! But it looks like his soul has become so strong that it's evolving… but incompatible with its direction of evolution, instead of his soul fully accepting his devil body, it seems that it had somehow deviated" Ajuka slowly explained to both Sirzechs and Rias.
Rias was happy at first then frowned concernedly.
"Aside from that he is completely fine… and well about his sleeping situation…" Ajuka sighed as he slowly reasoned out Jin's predicament.
"So Jin… for 18 years… And that forcibly woke him up…" Rias gritted her teeth as she heard Ajuka's explanation and although some regrets crept up on her heart… atleast now she knows that Jin can properly sleep from now on! That, she was sure of, based on her experience with Jin.
Rias let out a heavy sigh of relief, and felt the doubts on her heart vanishing, her chest now didn't feel as if something had blocked it, along with the heaviness on her shoulder lightening.
'I'll make sure to thoroughly reward Jin afterwards' Rias licked her lips with anticipation.
But for now Jin's situation had stabilized easing the worries of Rias.

Jin sitting on the chair felt sleepy… his head nodding slowly before raising it up to keep himself awake.
