Nadya and Kyana gulped as they looked at the sword sitting on the table. They knew exactly what it was. How couldn't they? Everyone knew what that sword was. Anyone who didn't know what that sword was had been living under a rock.
"Is that the Hero's Sword? The blade of the first Hero who slayed the Demon King?" Nadya asked, switching between looking at Kai and the sword.
"Heh, yeah. I'm the hero, unfortunately. The church is currently looking for me, but I've been keeping a low profile. I don't want to reveal myself yet. Kyana, I can help you get revenge soon. Since you took on a human trafficking quest, that means a quest like that should be a the guild. As for you, Nadya, your revenge will have to come a bit later. While I could just go there and wipe them all out, I'm sure you want to do it yourself. So, wait until we all become S-Rank Adventurers, and when I reveal that I'm the hero. That way, you can use your influence to decimate them."
