The entrance to the dungeon loomed like an ancient mouth carved into a cliff.
Dark. Ominous. Definitely cursed.
Leo stood at the edge with his four disciples behind him.
Aira: calm and cold.Rina: excited to set things on fire.Lira: floating two inches off the ground.Kara: cracking her knuckles like she wanted to punch the walls in already.
Leo cleared his throat. "Alright, team. This is just a beginner dungeon. Nothing fancy. Probably slimes, some bats, maybe a trap or two—"
CLICK.
A dart shot from the wall.
THWIP.
Right into Leo's shoulder.
"AHHHHH—WHY ME?!"
Five minutes in, Leo had triggered:
3 tripwires
2 pressure plates
1 suspicious stone that turned out to be a mimic (he screamed the loudest)
The girls?
Untouched.
Aira sliced through traps with calculated ice strikes.Rina burned away false doors.Lira floated through walls.Kara… just walked through them. The traps broke on her.
Leo stumbled behind them, covered in scratches, poison, and shame.
"I'm starting to think the dungeon hates me personally."
SYSTEM: Host Luck Stat = Cursed.
"Of course it is."
Deeper inside, they reached the boss room.
A hulking lizard-beast roared from its throne of bones. It swung a giant blade and shook the chamber.
Leo was about to shout tactics.
Then Kara punched it in the face.
One hit.
Boom.
Silence.
Leo blinked. "Well… strategy is overrated."
SYSTEM: Boss defeated. Dungeon clear. Treasure unlocked.
The room rumbled, revealing five glowing pedestals—one for each girl.
Each item pulsed with energy tied to their element.
Leo stepped forward—until the floor crumbled beneath him.
He fell into a pit of mud, bones, and probably regret.
"WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?!"
SYSTEM: Congratulations, Host. You've cleared your first dungeon—barely.
The girls peered into the pit.
Kara: "Should we help him?"
Aira: "He's still breathing."
Rina: "We'll pull him out after lunch."
Lira summoned a floating illusion that held up a sign:"Master's Curse Stat: Legendary."
Leo groaned. "I hate my life."
