A taller and a shorter boy walked down the street. All around them were loud murmurs, and many people looked visibly amused.
Seeing this, the younger boy voluntarily spoke up to explain, "Senior Mirai, something really strange happened last night in the village."
Hearing the boy's words, Mirai Uchiha raised an eyebrow indifferently, "Shisui, I went to sleep early yesterday evening. What happened?"
Shisui Uchiha approached Mirai Uchiha and lowered his voice, "Apparently someone attacked one of Root's bases last night and killed several Root ninjas."
"Really?"
"Yeah! But things aren't quite that simple," Shisui Uchiha continued, "It's said that this incident involved the Nara clan and the Akimichi clan."
"What evidence is there?"

After leaving Tajima Uchiha's house, Uchiha Mirai and Uchiha Shisui made their way into a dense forest behind the mountain.
While training himself, Mirai also offered some guidance to Shisui.
