Another moon... Ep-4
Jun arrives at school earlier than usual, but Yamato isn't there. She thinks, "Yamato is always the first one here," and questions herself before sitting at her desk. Time passes, and she waits. It's 9:00 AM, but Yamato is still absent. She finally realizes he's not coming today. "I'll see him tomorrow," she thinks, and leaves school. The next day, she again comes early, but Yamato is still absent.
Days pass. On the fifth day, Jun asks Toko, "What happened to Yamato?" Toko replies, "Oh, he went to Tokyo to see a doctor." Jun asks why, and Toko explains, "He has an insomnia problem, so he sees his personal family doctor." Jun says, "Oh, okay." Toko notices that Jun has started to miss Yamato and thinks, "I think she's fallen for him." That day, Toko invites Jun to her home, and Jun accepts. They both begin walking to Toko's house.
On the road, the same group of five men who harassed Jun that night appears again, interrupting them. "Hey guys, look at these two little pieces of shit walking together!" one boy jeers. Another boy says, "Hey Jun, you're nothing without Yamato, okay?" and moves to hit her. Suddenly, Toko steps between them and takes the slap, falling to the ground. The boy then pulls Jun's hair hard. Pow! A baseball bat comes from behind, striking the boy, who falls down with blood on his head. It's Hajime, holding the bat. "If you guys touch these two girls, I'll kill you all!" he snarls. They start to fight, and in the end, Hajime skillfully takes them all down.
Hajime offers his hand to Toko, who had fallen, but she declines, standing up on her own and giving him a cold stare. Jun says, "Thanks," and they all leave. Jun tells Toko, "I'll come to your house another day." Toko agrees and drops Jun off at her home.
Days pass. It's now Sunday, nearly eight days without Yamato. Jun wakes up in her bed and looks out the window; winter has arrived. She's excited and calls Toko about Yamato's return. "Yes, he's at home," Toko confirms. Jun asks, "Shall we go and visit Yamato at his home?" Toko agrees, and they head to Yamato's house.
Jun nervously knocks on Yamato's door. Yamato opens it. Jun's eyes well up, and she suddenly hugs him, crying, "I really missed you, you bastard! Why did you leave me alone?!" Yamato gently pats her head and reassures her, "Okay, okay, I'm here now. Don't worry." Toko grumbles, "Hello, there's a person standing next to you!" Suddenly, Yamato pushes her playfully. "Ah, shit! When did you get here, you buffalo?!" Yamato exclaims. Toko replies, "I've been here since Jun hugged you!" Jun and Yamato both blush heavily, and Yamato invites them inside his house to spend time.
Jun looks around Yamato's house, amazed that he has a cat and fish in a tank. "How do you pet a cat and a fish at the same time?" Jun asks. Yamato laughs. "Ha ha, no, they're both friends, don't worry."
Yamato asks, "Okay, let's eat lunch. It's about time." Jun and Toko agree. Yamato goes to the kitchen to cook. "Oh, you also know how to cook?" Jun asks, surprised. "Yes, I know, because I work at my grandmother's restaurant, so I know cooking," Yamato replies. Jun admires Yamato as he cooks, watching him in an apron. I'm so lucky to have a husband like you who knows cooking so well and cares for the people near him, she thinks, blushing. Yamato brings the food to the dining table. Suddenly, his grandmother enters and asks Toko, "Hey Toko, who's the newbie?" Toko replies, "Granny, it's Yamato's girlfriend!" Yamato and Jun hear this and both blush. Yamato shouts, "Hey, you piece of shit!"
Toko giggles and runs away. Everyone starts to eat. Granny thinks, I thought there was nobody for Yamato, but there's a girl to care for him now. I can die in peace. The day is joyful. Jun thanks them for lunch. "I'll leave now," she says. Yamato agrees. "Okay, be safe. It's getting darker outside," he says. Yamato suddenly remembers something and gives a teddy bear to Jun as a present. Jun is delighted and blushes, very happy. Toko asks, "Now, where's my gift?" Yamato replies, "There's no gift for buffalos!" he teases, but then gives a costly chocolate to Toko. Toko thanks him, and both girls leave the house.
Jun reaches her home, where Hajime is sitting with her mom. Hajime says, "Hi." He notices the teddy bear in her hands and asks, "Who gave that to you, Jun?" She replies, "Yamato gave it to me." Hajime then asks, "Now where are you from?" She replies, "I came from Yamato's house." Suddenly, Hajime stands up, says goodbye to her and her mom, and leaves quickly. Her mom asks, "Why did he leave so fast? I think he has work." Jun, uncaring, goes to sleep with the teddy bear in her hands, squeezing it tightly.
In Hajime's house, he's in his room, thinking, "Jun will never be mine." He punches the wall so hard that his hand starts to bleed a little. A notification appears on his phone: "Boss, what to do now?" Hajime replies, "Execute Plan B."
