The hospital was bustling as the nurses dragged Mileena into the hospital.
Hailey was beyond shocked but she pushed herself to move, to at least save the girl who looked like her.
Mileena's rib cage was bleeding profusely, and she was still unconscious. For some reason, panic surged through her body, silently praying the girl survived.
"Mileena," Flora called, tears streaming down her face as she tried to catch up with her friend but before she could reach her, the nurse held her hand, immediately stopping her.
"You can't go in," the nurse said, closing the door before Flora could think.
Crushed, Flora took a seat, sobbing hard.
Hailey and Eduardo gave each other a look, wondering if there was anything they could do. They'd decided to give them a ride in their first place. Was their charity over? Should they leave or stay to see if the girl survived? Even if she didn't, that was none of their business. They couldn't do anything about it.
