Date: Year- 2003, Month- July, Day- 23, Weekday- Friday, Time: 16:12(4 P.M.)

Today, an important meeting took place inside the Titan Tower. Robin guided Zigrit to the Ops Room, which is also used as the general common area.

"And this is the operations room. Me and Cyborg already worked on including an extra room on this floor for you, in case you choose to stay and that's about it for a Tour." Boywonder said with a small smile.

They had already gone through all the other floors, it started at the underground levels, of which there are two, the lowest one, where the basement room can be found, and the one above that, where the hanger room, and the launch pad room.

Above that is the ground floor, where the Lobby is, on the first floor is the infirmary, on the second floor the crime lab, on the third floor is the evidence room, on the fourth floor is the GYM, on the fifth floor is the danger room, on the sixth floor is the monitor room, and on the 7th floor are the Ops room, the bedrooms, and the bathroom.

"Got it, thanks… So, what now?" Zigrit asked as he looked around the room, avoiding eye contact with him, well the mask at least.

"I'll get the other Titans, have them get you acquainted with the team, then we can into a briefing about the logistics of this job, and maybe if we have time left a training test so we know what you can do, and how you work with the others, for now, I'll get them," Robin explained, then he headed towards one of the corridors, the one in the right.

Left alone in the room, he began to observe everything around him.

The room was large with a big monitor that covered the whole middle part of the wall, and right behind it, was a window that stopped near the end on both sides, but the dark grey walls started, and connected to the other walls, which had red patterns being red lines with big circles at the end going down, like a circuit.

Above that was the ceiling also dark grey with two light grey lines on both sides, then a light grey circle around the big yellow circle that worked as a lightning.

Right below the upper walls, there were lower walls, that went down like a slide with a diagonal, and each of them had doors on them, leading to the corridors containing the bedrooms, and the bathroom.

Then another smaller set of diagonal walls down, to the left side there was a long black couch with two tables in front of it. On the right side, there was a kitchen with counterboards and the necessary appliances, and finally on the center there was a curved black couch pointed toward the monitor TV.

Under the couch on the floor, three red lines, like red carpets went from there to the doors found in the room, two to the doors that lead to the corridor, and the last two, which were far thicker, one leading to the elevator door, and the other towards the monitor TV.

At the end of it, he walked towards the window and looked out into the city, and it was late afternoon by then, and the sun was going low.

The image of the city under the canvas of the afternoon sky had an almost water-painting feeling to it like the world was melting into itself.

"So, this is what I have to protect now… It's not too bad. I'll do a better job at it than that old crazy man ever did protecting me." He clenched his right fist while his left hand pressed on the window, and a deep heavy breath left him. "Then again, I'm a contestant. I have other responsibilities beyond this, not to mention the challenges the system mentioned… I need to be the best I can be at everything if I want to win, to keep this world from being destroyed, to finally take the reigns of things with my hands once and for all!"

The expression on his face bleeds determination and nothing is going to stop him from at least trying his best at it.

"Dude! That guy's the new member?! Wow, sick style you got there… Yooo! Guess we got a new shortest guy in the tower! I'm

Free!… Hahaha! I'm just messing with you, dude. Welcome to the team, hope you're here to stay." A green teen came up to him, speaking with a smile and a boisterous manner carrying himself with general lax.

He was wearing a full-body suit, which created his next down to his crotch area purple, however from his sleeves to his grey gloves, it was black, and the same could be said about his leg area, leaving only his grey belt, and his purple shoes with some grey and black on them to match.

His physique was slender, and fit, not quite as much as Zigrit or Robin, but far more than most, and he also had green eyes, hair, and pointy elf-like ears.

"Oh, thanks. I'm Zigrit… And I don't mind being the shortest. It never stopped me from causing mayhem." He chuckled at his own words, not meaning that 95% if not more of the time, that mayhem had happened outside his control.

"BB! Beast Boy here! I'm like totally the coolest guy here. Don't let Robin get to ya, he's got that serious syndrome, and while Cyborg is cool, he's just not quite at my level. I mean, I can turn into a T-Rex, dude! I feel like that alone carries my cool factor." Beast Boy nodded along before beginning to flex, and then doing the T-Rex mouth with his hands despite literally being able to become one.

"T-Rex? So you turn into dinosaurs?… That's a neat ability." Zigrit replies as if he didn't already know the answer.

"Animals dude! Any animal! Beast Boy? Get it? Hehehe!" Beast Boy tapped his arm with his elbow his laughter being rather contagious.

"So, like you can turn into aliens, and supernatural creatures too? Like could you turn into a description like Superman? Or a werewolf or maybe a monster like a goblin or Orc… I feel like there are a lot of possibilities here." Zigrit commented with a smile.

"I don't think that's how… Wait… You might be onto something here! That's crazy! Why did I never think of that?!… I should try it out! Thanks, man! I'll be right back!" Beast Boy having a lot of new ideas rolling in his mind ran off to his room.

"Wow! Look out! Man! What's gotten into the little guy?" A tall dark-skinned young man asked as he walked in an dodged the zooming Beast Boy, then he turned to Zigrit. "Booyah! We got a new member on the team! A whole new little guy, Robin talked quite a bit about you, so? You play offense, defense, or special team? You give off Linebacker vibes, am right, or am right?!"

Walking into the room, was a young man with most of his body covered in cybernetic or robotic enchantments, starting with his head that was half-covered, and the rest of his body except for the area right above his forearms and that was it.

His torso was like metallic armor, starting at white, and going center to a grey collar, down to a black and grey waist, followed by the arms and legs both having a blue chip-like blue and light blue patterns theme to them. Though it continues to the end on his arms, the legs to back to the white, grey, and black from his torso.

He was a hulking tank of a guy, with a grey eye and the other eye being fully a red cybernetic one, while his head was bald.

"Huh… Hi! Zigrit here… I assume you're Cyborg?" He responded.

"Oh really? And what gave you that idea?" The young man crossed his arms and looked down at him, seriously.

"Well… I… Huh…" Zigrit forced an awkward smile not knowing what to say.

"Hahaha! Did Batman give a serious 101 course or something? Cause I'm starting to see a pattern. Hell yeah! I'm Cyborg! Strong and proud! " Cyborg laughed it off before going on to say. "What's your deal, though? I heard you helped the Bat himself with cases. So, are you another brooding detective type like our boy, Robin, or do you bring something else? Just curious is all, you don't have to answer. No pressure."

"Well… I'm a meta, a hybrid human of sorts, so yeah I do have powers, but I can't control them quite yet, and they are mostly dormant. I can cook excellently though." Zigrit responded.

At that time, Robin was passing by, going to the other corridor.

"I see… Pink hair and eyes aside, you look pretty normal, you got the lucky end of the hybrid deal... But those are natural, right? Otherwise what I just said makes no sense." Cyborg asked almost more so out of curiosity than need.

"Yes… technically, I don't fully know… let's just say the changes in me began before I had hair so I don't know if my hair would have been another color. Probably though, considering both my parents have black hair." Zigrit said.

"Oh! Got it. So right now, you're essentially a normal guy?" Cyborg continued to pry for confirmation.

Hearing this question Robin, stopped to listen.

"Well, I resonate well with various forms of energy and I can somewhat manipulate preexisting energy as it stands, but the most supernatural part about me right now is my survivability. I'm not entirely sure if I can die, I probably can, but I just have no idea, a bunch of people tried and failed to kill me, not because I ran or defended myself, I just don't seem to stay down." Zigrit expressed with a forced smile.

"Damn! That's got to be rough. Whatever the case, now you got us on your back, you won't worry about all that when you have me on duty." Cyborg pat him on the back with a wide smile.

Robin went off to get the others.

"Yeah… You don't have to worry. I'll do my part." Zigrit responded with a weak smile.

"I bet. If you need it, though, I can hook you up with some sick tech." Cyborg leans in with his arm over the pink-haired boy's shoulder, as he speaks.

"I appreciate it, but I have my tech and equipment." Zigrit expressed.

"You seem pretty empty-handed, actually where is your stuff?" Cyborg looks all over.

"It's on me. I have this. It seems simple but it's advanced tech from… very far away." Zigrit pulled out a green orb from his coat's pocket.

"… Little pink man…. What is that thing?" Cyborg raised an eyebrow as his cybernetic eye began analyzing what he was looking at.

"It's a-" Before the pink-haired teen could properly answer, they were interrupted.

"Oh! Glorious day! I feel the excitement to meet a new friend! The glorps in my blezzonip are fluttering!" Flying into to room and dashing about for a few laps before stopping in front of them was a young woman with luscious red hair and orange skin.

She had large green eyes with light-green scleras and small rounded eyebrows. She had straight, shiny, waist-length, fiery-red hair with short bangs and a widow's peak.

Her uniform consisted of a sleeveless violet crop top, a violet miniskirt, a silver belt, and thigh-high violet boots with silver soles and bands at the top. For armor, she wore a silver gorget with a round green gem embedded into it, silver bracers with green gems over the backs of her hands, and a silver armband on her upper right arm.

"Whoa, Star, if blitz around like that, you'll startle the newbie. Zigrit this is Starfire, Star, this is Zigrit. Hehehe." Cyborg chuckled already somewhat used to this.

"Oh Stars! I hope I have not caused you any of the startlement. I did not wish for such, though I must say, your colorful hair and eyes are most pleasant, are such traits of common origin or place in your planet?" Starfire flew face to face with him, almost too close, as she spoke to him.

"Hahaha! Star, I don't think we have an alien in our hands here." Cyborg commented shaking his head.

Before he could answer she then added. "Is that so? Then I hope you are not disturbed by my comments, they were meant as compliments and not mean words."

"I was…. raised here, mostly, and maybe born here…. Or maybe they just brought me here, the gist of it is, no, I'm quite unusual in my looks. From what I remember, I never met anyone else who naturally had hair or eyes like mine." Zigrit expressed taking a step back to get some space from her.

"Wait? You're not from Earth?" Cyborg was surprised, to say the least.

"Oh, it seems my words were not misplaced after all. Also, please be happy friend Zigrit, to have the traits of such uniqueness is a mark few can claim." Starfire said with a wide smile.

"Yeah... I'm from very far away place it seems, but I was raised here, and I don't know much about the place. I was there once and it wasn't for long, so for all intends and purposes, I'm from Earth." Zigrit said with a small smile.

"That's the spirit! Earth is number 1! Earth is number 1!… No offense Star…" Cyborg began full of energy, before stopping to look at Starfire.

"I take no offense from your words. It is natural to believe one's homeworld is the best. I too believe Tamaran is the first of the numbers." Starfire smiled as she spoke.

"That's quite the nice sentiment, Star," Robin commented as he came back to the room.

"If everyone there is half as nice as Star, of might as well be." Cyborg nodded.

"I doubt that would be sustainable." A young woman covered head to toe in a hooded robe commented as she slowly floated into the room.

She was slender, with pale, grayish-white skin; violet eyes; and somewhat thick eyebrows. She had straight, asymmetrical angled, violet hair and a prominent widow's peak. She also has a red gemstone outlined in black located in the center of her forehead.

Her superhero outfit primarily consisted of the color, navy blue. She wore a hooded navy-blue cloak, matching ruffled ankle-boots with grayish-black soles, and a long-sleeve dark navy-blue legless leotard with regular navy-blue cuffs.

"Here she is, I assume you already got familiar with the rest of the team, and this is Raven. Raven, this is the new guy I talked about, Zigrit." Robin said with a smile.

After Robin said this, Raven turned to Zigrit, and he turned to her, and when they locked eyes, both of them frowned, feeling a strange discomfort of some sort.

"… Hi, like Robin said, Zigrit…" He extended his hand to her.

Raven simply looked at his hand, then at him, and said. "Yeah... Raven. Just try not to cause trouble and we'll be fine."

Just when it felt she would leave him hanging, a dark shadow tentacle arose from her shadow and shook his hand before disappearing.

Quicker than she had come, she left going back to her room.

(What was up with her?… Shaking her hand felt… weird. Is she… Hmmm, we'll see.) Zigrit thought to himself as he kept looking where she went.

"Earth to Zigrit… Man, I don't want to sound mean or anything, but be careful there. Raven's a tough nut to crack, so try not to get in your feelings about that." Cyborg called out to him.

"I am sure she has wonderful thoughts of your arrival, inwardly at least," Starfire added with a weak smile.

"Like they said, it will take some time to fully adjust, since you just got here. Right now, we should be focusing on the briefing and then some training, only after that will-" Robin began talking about the matters.

Then right then, the tower's crime alert began going off and resounding throughout the building.

"It seems that will have to wait. Let's take this chance for a field exam! Titans go!" Robin commanded after he checked the comn to see what the incident in question was.

Shaking the feeling he was getting, Zigrit nodded his head to Robin and focused on the mission right ahead, his chance to cement his new position as the 6th Titan.
