Pedro Langley sat in the office chair and casually opened a drawer, taking out a book.
Zero's "Death Legend."
Since he brought the book home, both Butler Loxley and Jack Carter had been reading it. Due to the familiar style of the illustrations, he had casually taken one to the company a few days ago but hadn't had a chance to read it.
Knock. Knock.
The sound of knocking came at just the right moment.
"Mr. Langley." It was Nathan Salt's voice.
"Come in."
Nathan Salt pushed the door open, closed it, and glanced at Pedro Langley with a slightly nervous expression before walking over briskly.
"Mr. Langley, this is the news suppressed this morning."
Nathan Salt handed a stack of photos to Pedro Langley.
The photos spread out, featuring two protagonists, a man and a woman. Some were unclear, not showing faces, but one person... just by looking at the figure, Pedro Langley could recognize them.
