Rhydian;
I open the door to my carriage, and I pause when I find Elian in it. He's pressed against the door on the other side of the carriage so hard that he might fall out if the door isn't properly closed.
He has his back to me and gazes outside the window. I'm pretty sure he's not looking at anything. He just doesn't want to look at me.
I sigh before getting into the carriage and shutting the door behind me.
"Move," I order, and just then, the carriage starts moving.
I stare out my window, and Father, Koda, and Zephan are at the entrance of the estate, watching us leave.
I'm about to look away when I spot Zethar spying on us leave from behind one of the pillars.
I look back at Elian and then back at Zethar.
Our eyes meet, and he narrows his gaze at me. A wordless, but loaded warning.
