Nolia was the first person inside the adventure's guild to be outside.
So she was the first to be met with the two heaviest realizations.
That the minions didn't die when their summoner died and most importantly that their guild wasn't the only place it got attacked.
If such thing is weak i shudder at the thought of what calamity the strong will bring.
Her town was in flames inside the andventurers guild everyone fought to kill every last of the remaining monsters. And all of that was happening on a perfectly normal day without any notice.
She run inside the building, and immediately runned to find Willie but as if the creatures knew what she tried to do, they tried to stop her even throwing their lives away.
The second she entered the building a weird abomination of a dark mass of rats approached her its neverending heads trying to eat her.
Eww disgusting can you please disappear your existence is revolting. Then as if to will her words into action she Materialized her spear its long bronze shaft radiating cleaness the golden blade on the head a most impactical use according to everyone after all gold was everything but a sharp and resilient metal. She ignored all of them she didn't need their opinion.
Then she infused a small fire inside the seem between the golden spear head and the bronze shaft. When the creature runned straight to the spear uncaring for the damage she immediately smiled.
Such simple creatures just because it won't die from the attack it will ignore it to try and bite my head of.
The blade eazly pierced the shadow body and as soon as it did an explosion happent inside its body obliterating the creature, its shadows dissolving from existence.
She then started to run again when 2 stickman like figures barred her path both had pairs of scissors for hands. Seriously didn't you see what i did to your friend?
Sigh ok come then i don't have all day i need to save a town and all.
Still the creatures didn't move. So she moved for them as soon as she did the meeting mimicked her movements starting an deadly dance.
Are you so indent on playing defensive well so be it i happened to prefer attacking anyways. She solidified her steps making the tiles below her crack from the pressure, she was on the first floor so she was allowed to go a bit extreme. Then in speeds a untrained eye couldn't hope to catch she dashed in one of them. The creature she attacked immediately defended it self while the other tried to attack her from behind.It seems they can keep up if they want still, as the creature tried to defend it self she simply rotated her spear mid flight putting much more pressure the she normally would because of the small torrent the block failed and the creature immediately got pierced in its belly still she didn't stop passing through it and ussing the current to push its body aside she rotated her spear in practiced ease and slashed at the other figure behind her. The creature didn't even realized what hit it before it fell on its knees before dissolving.
Ok now were i was I oh yes to Willy. But before she could take 2 steps forward a shadowy hyena looking monster with tentacles that ended with shapes of balls barred her path. It was 25 cm tall and looked much more confident that it's friends.
Ok this is starting to become weird they didn't tey to reach me before and now im met with a 3 challenger this can't be a coincidence.
On the rankings of the guild she wasn't that high up also her powers weren't anything exadrionary not did she commanded a special or unique element, as far as everyone was concerned she was a average fish in a sea of true horrors, she begged to differ but soon realised that being under the radar had its perks as long the important people knew how truly strong she was she didn't care.
Will was on the 20nth floor on her way down to the stairs and on the elemental elevator nothing stopped her. She took a huge gamble using a elevator in this situation but she was confident that even if it broke that she could salvage the situation. Right now it wasn't time for carefull calculations lifes were being lost even as she breathed and right now the scale of such lost lifes were on scales her human brain couldn't grasp.
But now thinks were different, the monster immediately attacked her with 2 of its tentacles trying to abuse their better reach and the fact that a single hit would destroy the spear. Still she wasn't deteret instead of dragging this fight out she pointed her spear straight to one of the tentacles and pierced both the ball and the tentacle as the other one hitted the air to far of. The monster suprised that this exchange webt that way tried to retreat but to no avail, she kept going and pulling her spear back for another thrust she used her hole body to make sure the shadowy didn't have the chance to go anywhere. She managed such feat not because of her strength or the superior craftsmanship of her spear but because of her elements and how they interacted with the golden head. Her fire was a bit special after all instead of burning her enemies or small objects she burned the gold and using the air element to suppress the reaction until time was right she pretty much fired 3 elements all in one attack. A compressed fire, a hot burst of air and golden shards all in one and since she used a weapon as a medium the attack was much more powerful and had substance.
The weak shadowy tentacle had no chance and even though she used it against humans killing them wasn't her goal so she always holded back hidding how devastating that attack truly was.
She then slashed the air throwing all the broken pieces on the floor while looking cool. Then she took another step when 3 shadowy creatures charged at her.
Yes this is going to become boring pretty fast.
