"Fifth slash: Punitive chop!" Wind swirl round Iode's feet holding the hilt of his sword with both hands, in few seconds, he slash into the air. From the sword, multiple line slashes of uncountable numbers forms and moves in various directions, towards ten giant red boars that are in front of him.
While the boars were just readying to give an offensive attack seeing the intruder, however, thin lines cut across their entire bodies. In few seconds, they all fell with dismembered body parts loitering on the ground, literally, they died without knowing what hit them.
Iode stabs the red ground with his sword, holding onto it hilt, panting and breathing thinly. His face has become rough, his clothes were starting to tear and have become battered. He pants heavily as steam ooze out with each breath.
"Ah, he didn't send me to the next location the moment I defeated those beasts? Is he trying to be considerate or what, I fought in more than twenty locations without rest, sending me to the next place as soon as I'm done with the last.
Tsk, that bastard knows I don't want to spend any more second here and I'm desperate to go back home, he's using me to clean up his territory from the minions of a rival devil. Why can't the bastard do it himself since he's all powerful, wannabe devil ". Iode mutters.
As he finished talking, he could see his stigma shimmer.
"Seems I spoke too soon... Sigh ". He said, he could see himself fade from the spot he his and reappears in what seems to be a forest.
However, the forest is not your typical green lush biome with overgrown trees, rather, the forest is made up of weird looking plantlike organisms with glowing red stems, their leaves were large and cusp-like, similar to the pitcher plant. However, within the cusp, boiling liquid bubbles up continuously. The cusps were red in color with some having white spots, others black.
Iode looks at his surroundings, he could see that there is no lava flowing in the area, the place was filled with plant looking organisms. However, he noticed that the stems of the plants that were glowing red was actually lava the plants tapped from the ground. The lava made the plants red, but it is actually astounding that the plant could withstand the heat and use it as some sort of supplement.
"Why was I brought to this place". He said, but as soon as he finished talking, his answer would come find him. Tremors shakes the ground, it continues, and seems to be coming from behind him. He turns around to see the cause and was beyond perplexed — or rather, his face turns grim.
Unlike the beasts he encountered in his last battles, the beast or rather, the monster before him is a towering seventy meters tall entity. The monster has a large head with a single large eye that is positioned at the center of its face.
Two large fangs stick out of it lower jaw, it ears were pointy and pot bellied. The monster skin is carnation in color with calluses and blisters on it surface. It wore a loincloth around it groin. On its hand, it holds a large rocky club with spikes. It ooze steam out of it nostrils and stares at the little person in its front.
"Why is there a living person from the mortals realm in the underworld?" The monster said in a thundering voice.
"It talks?" Iode gulps, this is an intelligent foe.
"It doesn't matter, it has come to my attention that someone is eliminating all my minions, I'll have to presume that someone is you, so, you have come to challenge me also, how foolish of you oh mortal". The monster said.
"Your opponent is not one of those mindless boars, but I, Cyclops lesseris, the one who will put an end to you. The anomaly you are, I will correct and make you a normal visitor of the underworld ".
"Death is out of the question monster, you are just an overgrown freak that would receive a beating from this foolish mortal ". Iode responds.
"Did Valier send you here, I can sense lingering energy of him within you, so he could not do the work himself and sent you here, gladly would I send you to Hades ". The cyclops said.
"I don't know who that Hades guy is, but I don't plan on dying in this wretched place, I'll defeat you and return to my kids at home ". He said.
"Go back home? The only person who can do that is the one who brought you here, and that's Valier... Oh, maybe Hades, Lucifer, or even Persephone could do that too, but I'm too angry to take you to them ". The cyclops said.
Iode became stunned, he just learned about some devils that could grant his wish. The monster known as cyclops raise its club and brings it to the ground towards Iode.
"Die mortal!".
It bash the club on the ground, dust rise on the ground and clouds the surroundings.
"I'll defeat you and make you take me to those people you just mentioned". Iode said standing on top of the cyclops' club...
