Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Mysterious Message

I walked for blocks, trying to clear my head and make sense of what had just happened. The stranger in my apartment, the whisper in my ear – it was all so surreal. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was losing my grip on reality.

As I turned a corner, I spotted a small café and decided to duck inside. I needed a coffee and a chance to collect my thoughts. I took a seat at a table by the window and pulled out my phone to check for any messages.

That's when I saw it – a text from an unknown number. "Meet me at the old clock tower at midnight. Come alone."

My heart skipped a beat as I stared at the message. Who could be sending me such a mysterious text? And what did they want from me?

I tried to brush it off as a prank, but something about the message resonated deep within me. It was as if the sender knew exactly what I was going through.

I debated whether to respond or ignore the message, but my curiosity got the better of me. I decided to investigate further and see who was behind the mysterious text.

As I sipped my coffee, I couldn't help but think about the stranger in my apartment. Was it possible that he was the one who sent the message?

The more I thought about it, the more I felt a sense of unease. I didn't know what was going on, but I knew I had to be careful.

I decided to do some research on the old clock tower and see if I could find any information about it. As I searched online, I discovered that the clock tower was a abandoned landmark on the outskirts of town. It was rumored to be haunted, and many people avoided the area.

Despite the warnings, I felt drawn to the clock tower. There was something about the mysterious message that resonated with me.

As the day went on, I couldn't shake the feeling that my life was about to change in ways I couldn't imagine. The mysterious message had set something in motion, and I was powerless to stop it.

I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 9 PM. I had a few hours before midnight. I decided to go home, get some rest, and try to prepare myself for whatever was going to happen.

But as I walked back to my apartment, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. And that the stranger in the night was still out there, waiting for me.
