In ages past, the world was ruled by four mighty gods who divided the realms to preserve the sacred balance.
The Heavens the highest and most hallowed domain, reigned by the almighty Zeus.
The Oceans an endless kingdom of waves, ruled by Poseidon.
The Underworld a land shrouded in death and darkness, where Hades held dominion.
And finally, the Earthly Realm the domain of mankind, watched over by Athena, goddess of wisdom and just war.
But when Poseidon and Hades began to covet the Earthly Realm, the balance was shattered.The Holy War erupted once more.
Athena stood alone against Poseidon's unyielding will and Hades's deathly might.
The war raged for centuries, consuming the four realms in fire and strife, nearly bringing the world to ruin.
At last, Poseidon was sealed within the Sacred Amphora. Hades was reduced to ash, scattered in the void.
But even so... Athena could not escape the consequences of defying the divine law.
For she had broken the Law of Time traveling back to save Seiya, the young warrior whose heart had been pierced by Hades's sword.
Though born of mercy, her act was seen by the gods as treason against the sacred order.Thus, Apollo, god of light, cast judgment without mercy.
Athena was stripped of her divinity.
She became a mere mortal powerless, forsaken and all memory of her was erased from the hearts of the Saints, as if the goddess of war had never existed at all.
Now, the world enters the Age Without Gods.
No Athena. No Poseidon. No Hades.
Only Zeus remains the almighty god of the heavens, watching the world below with cold, distant eyes.
And something... something long dormant...is about to awaken once again.
