when he's in our class.
"
"And if he's someone that has potential? Would you let Rias-san take him? Or we will take the chance and approach him first?"
"We shall see, Tsubaki, we shall see. Until we are one hundred percent sure that he is someone that has potential we wouldn't do anything.
"
A few minutes later, the same guy that Sona and Tsubaki were talking about earlier, was sitting in their classroom, not paying too much attention to what their teacher was rambling about. The teacher was a nice person, and his lessons were surely interesting, at least for him.
But the new transfer student couldn't concentrate on whatever the teacher was explaining, even if he wanted to. There were way too many girls in his class and above all of these, five girls were staring at him from time to time.
Two of them were the council president and her vice president that he got to know at the gate, while the other three were a crimson-haired girl, a black-haired girl, and a girl with long, brown hair arranged in multiple drill-like curls. At first, he tried to ignore them, but as the classes went on, those stares start becoming rather annoying and while he should have felt happy that five girls were showing some interest in him, he wasn't in the mood for some love drama, at least not from the first day.
Just as I was thinking about making an excuse to leave this classroom, I heard the teacher calling my name.
"Kojou-kun, could you please resolve this problem?"
"Ah, sorry, could you repeat the question please?"
"A quadratic equation is an equation having a second degree. It means it will contain at least one term in which the variable is squared.
The standard form of this equation is?"
"ax²+ bx + c = 0"
"Correct, thank you Kojou-kun. "
After that, the teacher left me alone, while I was still thinking about an excuse for my escape, yet before I could find a good and believable reason, the bell was heard.
Finally, that damn bell rang, indicating the end of this dangerously boring math lesson. I was wondering if it was only me, who had no problem solving all those supposedly difficult math problems in a matter of seconds, or if anyone else had no problem with it either.
Looking at the confused faces of my classmates I was pretty sure that the answer was the former and that the only reason why I was able to solve those problems was mainly due to my parents encouraging me to learn ahead of my peers from a young age since it would help me in the long run.
As I was about to leave the classroom and got somewhere quiet where I couldn't hear every single thing my classmates were talking about, I felt a hand touching my shoulder and for a fraction of a second, my body moved on its own. Before I knew it, I was having a girl in my arms.
We both blinked at the same time before she turned bright red. Letting her down, I quickly apologize.
"I'm sorry. Usually, people don't approach me like this.
Once again, I'm sorry for reacting like this. "
"No, no, it was my fault. I'm Kiyome Abe, sorry for surprising you.
"
"Akatsuki Kojou, I should be the one saying that, Kiyome-san. "
"It happens, besides no one was hurt, by the way, Kojou-kun, can I call that right? Do you want to eat together?"
I was surprised to say at least and while I heard about this, I couldn't have imagined that a girl would invite me to eat with her, even more so when it was the first time we've met, but there'll be blood if I refuse.
"I don't see a problem, Abe-chan. "
Once again, Abe blushed a little when I called her like that, but she quickly took my hand and dragged me towards the roof, all of this happening in front of four rather surprised and slightly annoyed girls…
