Inside, Grandpa Max, a sturdy old man with white hair and a vibrant Hawaiian shirt, sat at the wheel, his spirit undimmed. Seated across from him were Ben and Gwen Tennyson, a brown-haired boy and a little girl who seemed perpetually locked in an argument, their bickering filling the air.
Seated opposite them was an Asian boy who seemed out of place. He had a distinctly more mature demeanor. Worse yet, he was just a ten-year-old boy. His only chance at survival was to acquire the Omnitrix. Any other biological or mechanical transformation was beyond his reach.

Just as Ryan's thoughts began to run wild, a clear prompt sounded in his ear.
"Sign-in system selecting host..." Confirmation complete. Loading started..."
"Loading successful!"
"Congratulations, Host, for acquiring the sign-in system!"
A series of mechanically synthesized sounds stunned Ryan briefly. The next second, his heart swelled with excitement. Was this the legendary, reality-defying system from online novels? His own cheat had finally awakened!
"System, what are your functions?" Can I sign in every day? Or do I get a monthly reward package?" Ryan asked eagerly in his mind. The system's voice immediately echoed back.

Ryan was ecstatic, as if he had just won the lottery. This golden reward was incredible! The Omnitrix, the most powerful weapon in the universe, would now recognize him as its master!
"Open coordinates!" Ryan eagerly instructed the system.
Before his eyes, a cosmic perspective materialized. A fireball, resembling a small meteorite, was hurtling toward Earth's surface. Just as in the original show, it flew directly into the woods near the campsite.
Of course, only Ryan could see this image; Ben and Gwen couldn't.
"All right, I'll wait until we get to the campsite."
In a much better mood, Ryan began chatting with Ben and Gwen. His usual reserved demeanor faded as he spoke casually and found it easy to connect with them on the journey.
The sky gradually darkened.
