Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The New Arrival

It was nighttime. An old motorhome rumbled through the woods, heading toward a campsite.

Inside, Grandpa Max, a sturdy old man with white hair and a vibrant Hawaiian shirt, sat at the wheel, his spirit undimmed. Seated across from him were Ben and Gwen Tennyson, a brown-haired boy and a little girl who seemed perpetually locked in an argument, their bickering filling the air.

Seated opposite them was an Asian boy who seemed out of place. He had a distinctly more mature demeanor. He rested his chin in his hand, his gaze fixed on the woods outside the window; his thoughts were miles away. He was a transmigrator. By some twist of fate, he had arrived in this world. He grew up without parents, relying on relief funds and the occasional financial assistance from relatives to get by. And the relative who had helped him? Grandpa Max.

Having watched Ben 10 in his previous life, Ryan instantly recognized the name "Max." At first, he didn't believe he was in the world of Ben 10. It wasn't until this summer when Grandpa Max invited him to travel and he met Ben and Gwen that the chilling reality truly set in: This was the "Ben 10" world!

This was the Ben 10 world! It was a place teeming with alien monsters, bizarre mutated creatures, and dangerous mad scientists. Don't be fooled by Ben's triumphant rescues in the original cartoon; that was animation. In reality, who knew what unexpected horrors could unfold?

Unexpected things often killed people.

Worse yet, he was just a ten-year-old boy. His only chance at survival was to acquire the Omnitrix. Any other biological or mechanical transformation was beyond his reach.

"Ding!"

Just as Ryan's thoughts began to run wild, a clear prompt sounded in his ear.

"Sign-in system selecting host..." Confirmation complete. Loading started..."

"Loading successful!"

"Congratulations, Host, for acquiring the sign-in system!"

A series of mechanically synthesized sounds stunned Ryan briefly. The next second, his heart swelled with excitement. Was this the legendary, reality-defying system from online novels? His own cheat had finally awakened!

"System, what are your functions?" Can I sign in every day? Or do I get a monthly reward package?" Ryan asked eagerly in his mind. The system's voice immediately echoed back.

"Ding!"

"Host, this system can automatically search for nearby objects available for sign-in. Upon detection, it will prompt the host to sign in and receive a reward!"

"Reward quality is divided into the following categories: Gold, Purple, Blue, Green, and White, from highest to lowest quality!"

As if to confirm the system's words, Ryan inadvertently glanced at Ben Tennyson.

"Ding!"

"Sign-in object detected: Ben Tennyson!"

"Approach him, tap him on the shoulder, and sign in!"

Amazing! Suddenly, bursts of golden light appeared on Ben Tennyson's head! Golden legend? Ryan immediately walked over to Ben, raised his hand, and lightly patted his shoulder.

"Ryan, what's up?" Ben asked.

"It's nothing, Ben. There was a fly on your shoulder, and I swatted it off for you," Ryan explained with a kind smile.

"Ding! Congratulations, Host, for successful sign-in!"

"Golden reward acquired: the specific coordinates of the Omnitrix and 100% host binding to Ryan!"

"The Omnitrix's exact coordinates...and 100% bound?!"

Ryan was ecstatic, as if he had just won the lottery. This golden reward was incredible! The Omnitrix, the most powerful weapon in the universe, would now recognize him as its master!

"Open coordinates!" Ryan eagerly instructed the system.

Before his eyes, a cosmic perspective materialized. A fireball, resembling a small meteorite, was hurtling toward Earth's surface. Just as in the original show, it flew directly into the woods near the campsite.

Of course, only Ryan could see this image; Ben and Gwen couldn't.

"All right, I'll wait until we get to the campsite."

In a much better mood, Ryan began chatting with Ben and Gwen. His usual reserved demeanor faded as he spoke casually and found it easy to connect with them on the journey.

The sky gradually darkened.

Soon, the old RV slowly approached the campsite. As soon as the vehicle came to a halt, Ryan sprang from his seat, trotted to the door, and pulled it open with one hand. He announced, "Grandpa, I like to run at night. I'm going for a quick jog in the woods. I'll be back soon!"

"Eh!" Having put down the steering wheel, Max looked at Ryan darting out and called loudly, "Don't run too far, Ryan, and don't go too fast! Be careful not to fall!"

"Got it, Grandpa!"

Ryan's shout echoed from the distance. He was already far away.

In the woods! Guided by the system's precise coordinates, he moved nimbly through the trees, the branches crunching beneath his feet with every "click!" Suddenly, a trace of light illuminated the dark path ahead.

Ryan looked up. A red fireball, resembling a meteor, was hurtling toward a spot over 100 meters in front of him. It was clearly visible to the naked eye.

That's the Omnitrix!

Boom!

Almost immediately after he spotted the craft, it crashed into an empty clearing in the distance. Suddenly, flames shot into the sky, illuminating the entire forest.

Ryan raised a hand to shield his eyes. As the fiery light gradually faded, he hurried toward the impact crater. When he reached the large pit, he saw a circular spacecraft cracked all over lying at the bottom like a meteorite. The craft then opened automatically.

Inside was a mysterious-looking watch glowing with a miraculous green light.
