"Phoenix. Do you have time to check the report I emailed you?" Gavin started walking beside me.
He was a very capable man and could easily be the next candidate for the post of Royal head warrior.
While crossing the train yard, we could hear swords clashing.
"I'll check it before evening, Gavin," I said without looking at him.
"How about having lunch with us today? We enjoy your company," A smile tugged at my lips when I heard that.
"Sure. But not today. I'm not hungry."
He didn't push it.
When we reached my office, I held the handle and tried to push the door open. It didn't budge.
I frowned and tried again. Was it locked?
"That's strange," Gavin muttered behind me, glancing around, "Why would they lock this room?"
