UNKNOWN CONTRACT
the next morning was kind of slow to come by which was unusual , Sophia just kept rolling over to her end of her bed and back again, till alarm slammed six ' am in the morning leaving the sound '' drrrrr ..." .
Sophia hurriedly rushed over to the alarm clock and turned it off ,and stood up walked to where her mirror was hung and took a full glance of herself at the mirror and let out a broad smile which almost swallowed her face , she sure was really beautiful she told herself.
And for the first time she had never been so excited about work , not after Ethan called her beautiful , she rushed over to the bathroom turned the water to warm , stretched her hand over the rolls .. she personally arranged and grabbed her hair shampoo ...yeah she needs to smell nice today .
she put in a little content of it on her palm and gently started scrubbing her hair , it was awkward to say but the shampoo seemed to calm her nerve as she was inaudible already creating her future plans with her future salary when she hasn't even worked for more than a week there though .
she rushed over taking shower yeah she needs to be early today to get a good compliment from her boss as usual ,it was already becoming a norms for Ethan to praise her if she came early .
she carefully selected a white sparkling shirt over a long slightly bright blue trouser which looked great , she made her hair in ponytail style and went over to the kitchen to make some instant noodles she doesn't really like cooking ... it was the last thing she would ever do .
But her definitely started making her own meals when her when her bank account balance humbled her , ''I mean eating out is so expensive , i mean everybody knows that it won't kill ,if I make my own meals practically almost everyone does that instead " that was all she always said to herself.
she hurriedly made the noodles for not less than thirty minutes she was already done cooking it ...she walked over to her couch '' ah " she exclaimed as she slumped over her couch to dig in to her food , it was around six - fourty five that she took the last portion of the food and damn it tasted so much better now she guessed .
Still in her imagination her door bell rang , her heart skipped a mile and back , '' who the fucking hell is it this sweet early morning " she murmured with anger visible written over her face she dragged her feet to the door twisting the door nob and the door swang open ...wait it wasn't a postman as she guessed .
it took her sometime to analyze who it was.. before she could utter a word " sorry can I help you " she asked with a confused face .
" Not if you are not miss . Sophia or are you ? "
the man inquired with one of his eye brow raised in a fixed way , I mean he could just ask if I was miss.sophia without making it sound so much annoying like that.
" yes ... am ..miss Sophia '' rose replied non- challantly but alert in case he made any rough move .
For once she was greatful her dad was an ex- military officer , she was groomed in a very hard way tough enough to beat a man at least she wasn't a weak person.
The man took one glance at her and said " then we should be in our way now miss . Sophia '' with this he pointed at the SUV parked smartly beside her house , this worsened the situation as rose heart flew off she could swear her was just breathing through her mouth this time ... she was very sure if that !
'' sorry ... em...I don't seem to grasp what you mean ..." she stammered her voice visible shaking it was very noticeable that she was already scared ... she she was trying to play cool at least to save some dignity to herself.
Her reaction made the man to laugh hard but quite mockingly at her , it wasn't funny to Sophia as she stood like an idiot just staring at him .
" okay , am... sorry ..so sorry for the delay ... you look pathetic ...by the way am Micheal by name" he said stretching his hand towards rose to shake but she acted like she didn't see it and he took it down in embarrassment.
" your Micheal and so sir '' Sophia said immediately she was really out of patience with this strange guy can't he just go straight to the point .
'' Are you not the new P.A at blackwood '' he asked annoyingly .
" that's correct ,so ...? what does it have to do with me entering your God damned car ! " she said out of annoyance , she doesn't want to be late to work but she can't practically walk past this man here , he looked suspicious to her .
" alright , okay let me cut the chase , am your assigned driver , didn't you read the contract you signed with us " . he said surprisingly.
Sophia eye widened at the mention of contract ... '' well I was just given a book with my work schedule on it to sign not a contract " she said Making sure the words hit him real hard and we're clear to him .
" well you actually signed a contract Sophia , your name is cute though but you seem to be dumb , wonder how you got the job don't take my words the wrong way'' he said Making sure the word hit Sophia very hard .
Which of course did this time but Sophia didn't utter a word , she just stared knowing fully well that she really was a dummy and dumb enough not to notice that her boss Mr.Ethan was surprised also when she signed it clearly knowing that the contract was really something one has to consider for days before signing but she just signed when she saw how much she would be paid .
But whatever when her mind immediately crossed to how much she would be earning monthly ... Micheal snapped his finger twice at her face " hey , are you okay seemed like you just zooned off ,just now '' he said with a puzzled look .
" concerned ? " Sophia asked making sure the word sounded annoying .
" nah , not really , I just don't wanted to make sure out PA DOESN'T faint on her first day at work '' he said Making the annoying words hit her back .
" it's not my first day of work, I already worked there for a week ''. Sophia said with anger written all over her face ...
" As far as I haven't driven you to work yet you haven't started work at all ...you seriously didn't read the contract'' he said trying to annoy Sophia the more .
"whatever '' Sophia said in defeat she wasn't ready for argument she just needs to get to work first .
" so shall we '' he said with a broad smile as he opened the door the SUV door for her to enter .she just entered muttering " I can open the door , my hands are not broken "
" Not when a gentleman like me is here my lady " he snapped .
" just shut - up and drive you are so annoying '' Sophia said with irritation .
oh gosh he was undeniable annoying he could tell with the way Sophia stared at him and just whined up the car window .
yeah he liked it when he annoyed people it was at least the very thing he was good at , well it was their first meet but he just seemed to like her rough and dumb combined with stubborn self.
he reasoned then took a step forward opened the car door and entered turned the car Sterling and drove off within few minutes they already arrived at the company before he could rush to open the door , rose was already out slamming the car door shut with a big thump !.
