At a little hole in the wall, two goddesses, and their guards sat, talking over a roughly drawn out map. Different symbols marked it, each clearly understood by the parties involved, but would leave others baffled.
"Can you really handle them?"
"In this condition, yes."
"Good. We have to do this right. Let's discuss this with our familias now. We can't mess this up even in the slightest of ways. With the boy in the dungeon there's nothing left to stop us…"
"Agreed."
The short, spear wielding pallum, with blond hair, and a purple fit. And the tall, overly muscular Boarman left the table to their goddesses.
"So, what do you think, Freya? Who's getting that girl?"
"Hmm, I just want that girl, she's pretty. You can take what you want."
"What if that boy shows up?"
"What of him?"
"You won't try to charm him, will you?"
"Maybe. He's really cute too. But I don't see it being easy to take him away."
"Maybe we should have tried to get Ganesha on our side for this. His help in calming him would be instrumental."
"No, if we did that, our plans would have been leaked for sure."
"Yeah, you're right about that. Ouranos said we had to drive them out of Orario."
"And once we're done, we'll be the top familias in the city."
"True… Now then, what will they do?"
…
Down in the dungeon, the 50th floor, Shurry had finished gathering all of the ingredients for his big welcome home meal. "I can't waste any time! I can always ask Cyal for help properly butchering the meat. Maybe I should grab a few more." His stomach rumbled.
Scaling the dungeon floors, all the way up to the 28th floor again. "This place, it feels different? Why?" I'll take a nap and then return to the surface later. The Wolves' Den doesn't open until morning anyway."
…
The Zeus & Hera familia home… Once a bustling place full of different types of cheer. Now filled with the sounds of a young girl, wailing, the muffling of a goddess's chest did little to lessen the sound of her tears. Meda, just learned the fate of what happened to her parents, and everyone else she'd grown to love so much in her short life. She didn't have any time to blame anyone, and she was smart enough to know that no one was strong enough to replace her parents, so who could she blame, but the One Eyed Black Dragon.
Finally coming to his own senses a while ago. Alraj explained everything that happened, the best he could, and tried to convey just how terrifying it was. And even all about the replacement eye the monster had.
"We were over zealous. There's no way mortals can beat that thing."
"Not even with Shurry's outer moon?"
"Zeus, what do you think it would take to turn Maxim, his armor, and the area around him into gas?"
"Something over 20… 25 if it was a dragon…"
"Even with his help it wouldn't have changed anything. We should have just gone with the plan to strengthen the seal first. And wait till Shurry had grown up a bit more. Now… I have to hand him this… Lyca's last words… I wish I knew what they were, but I couldn't see them clearly."
"If I know him, he'll understand, even if no words were spoken." Hera tried to comfort. Even though she was usually rather selfish, and demanding of her own way, she knew this was not the time for it."
Zeus placed a firm, fatherly hand on Alraj's shoulder. "It's not your fault. Do not blame yourself. You'd be the only one who would. Come with me, and we'll get you cleaned, and leveled up."
"Heh, a level up now? Fate really plays cruel tricks."
…
The next morning, at the Wolves' Den, Shurry showed up with a bunch of Great Stags. "Hey! Cyal, Can you help me with these things? I want to surprise everyone with their favorite meals as soon as I can!" Shurry's upbeat voice, and bright eyes, threw Cyal off.
"Shurry, you're here? Go."
"Huh? But? I? I just wanted to make Aunty Lyca's most favorite meal…"
Cyal clenched his teeth… "Where have you been? They're already back. You should go, quickly."
"Huh? Really! They're back!" Shurry shouted, jumped and ran off, leaving all of the ingredients he'd gathered behind in his pursuit. "Aunty Lyca!" He shouted as he ran through the streets. Odd, I don't smell her? Why don't I smell her? Is my nose off today because I didn't sleep right? That must be it! She's strong! Of course she came home.
…
At the Zeus & Hera familia home. Two people, a young man, and a young woman… Were locked in a struggle against attacking forces.
Alraj fought on the frontlines against a litany of foes… An overwhelming force, yet, despite the lack of buffs, and the overwhelming sense of loss, he stood strong in the face of them all. I'm the last one… Ottar, Gareth, the Gulliver brothers, Hogni, Allen, Noir, Bara, Dain, and Finn. Along with a host of other lower level members meant for harassment attacks.
Meteria used her magic to counter as many of the mages as she could, but she too was running out of steam. She was a kind person, and so she felt horrible for what Shurry will soon learn… Meda is still crying. She hasn't stopped… I don't blame her… I want to cry right now too…
Alraj, on his last legs, used a last ditch effort, forcibly activating a type of limit off. "YOU WANT TO BEAT US!? WELL I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU EARN IT!" The change in speed was stark, he'd pushed well beyond his limits, and his body started to break down at a rapid pace, however, he very nearly managed to kill all of their level 2s and 3s. Severely injuring all of the others.
It was now down to him, and a wounded- a healed Ottar. The clash of a massive weapon, basically a slab of steel, on the small dagger like blades, began chipping away. And eventually, the blades broke under the full strain of Ottar's boost might, slicing straight down through Alraj… He fell to both sides in two halves…
"NO!!! BIG BROTHER!" Shurry had just barely managed to reach a place he could see what was happening.
Finn, realizing the worst case was about to happen, made an order. "Kill her too! Quick!"
"DAMN YOU! YOU EVILUS BASTARDS!" Shurry's rage wasn't just verbal, it reverberated through the air.
Just as a fire ball was about to hit a drained Meteria, Shurry's light platform blocked the attack. And he landed next to the- in half- corpse of his big brother… Alraj. His pupils dilated, and narrowed at a rapid pace, his head leaned back, and turned, putting the sight of all the villains in his eyes.
