The storm had been raging for hours—howling winds, flashes of lightning, and thick clouds churning above the snowy peaks of the Tempest Mountain. It felt like nature itself was rejecting something… or perhaps, preparing for something sacred.

Then, it happened.

A cry.

Not just any cry—it was sharp, pure, and powerful. It tore through the storm like a blade.

At that moment, the winds stilled.

The thunder ceased.

The clouds slowly pulled away from the sky like curtains unveiling a stage.

The moment that first baby cried, the storm broke.

A few moments later, another cry followed—gentle but firm.

And that's when the sky lit up.

The clouds parted fully, revealing the cosmos.

Among the stars, the rarely seen Horse Constellation glowed brightly above the snowy peaks—a celestial omen that appeared only once every 9000 years. A sign of a divine fate.

Thus, under the witness of the stars, two children were born into the world.

Two brothers.

One, named Kal—the elder.

And the other, Yama—the younger.

They were born to the Sarong Family, rulers of the Northern Region of the country called Mahirtri.

The Sarong patriarch wept tears of joy, his voice trembling as he named them. His wife, pale but smiling, whispered softly, "They will be the light of the family."

Soon, the entire family compound erupted in celebration. Bells rang. Horns echoed through the snowy cliffs. Warriors offered bows and nobles sent gifts.

Even the ancestral spirits of the Sarong lineage—residing in the mountain shrines—were said to have whispered their blessings.

Mahirtri was no ordinary nation.

It was a rebirth, forged from the ashes of fallen countries during the War of Destruction.

Decades ago, after the fall of most of modern civilization, surviving parts of the once-great lands came together to form a single, unified stronghold—an island nation forged from fragments of India, China, South Korea, Japan, and Pakistan.

But not whole countries—just surviving islands and territories, barely holding together.

These merged territories formed the nation now known as Mahirtri—a land of snow, resilience, and strength.

To govern this powerful fusion, four ancient families stood at the helm:

The Boujong Family, ruling the East—The land near sea. It guard this area.

The Korishima Family, ruling the West—the land of mechinary and advanced tech.

The Sungjo Family, ruling the South—the land of mysteries, they guard these area from ghost invasion.

And The Sarong Family, rulers of the North—in charge of guarding the mountain ghosts.

The Sarong family was the most secluded but also the most feared—mystics, beast tamers, and star-bound cultivators.

Their lineage claimed a bond with constellations themselves.

And now, on this sacred day, two heirs were born to the Sarong line.

Kal—whose cry shattered storms.

Yama—whose cry summoned the Horse Constellation.

Prophecy keepers from distant clans began traveling toward the North.

Star readers wrote new scripts.

Beast sages whispered to their familiars: "The cycle is breaking."

And far away, in the sealed corners of the red misted world, something stirred—not in fear, but in anticipation.

Because this was only the beginning.

"Where am I? Am I really in that world right now?" little Yama thought in his mind.

"So this is the ghost fantasy world, where you have to tame ghosts through defeating them. Although… hah… sighhhh…" Little Yama sighed for a second and shouted in his mind obviously, "I am not the real hero in this world. On top of that I am not even powerful. But my elder bro is the badass op protagonist of this world. And don't expect him to be merciful in this world. Although he is a top idiot like a certain pirate king of another world."

Little Yama looked at little Kal who was sleeping right beside him at that moment. They were lying beside their mother 'LOREN SARONG'. The head wife or the only wife of the patriarch of sarong family. And she was a Warbond.

The patriarch of sarong family was 'SINJEL SARONG'. He was also a Warbond. One of the best ones.

"Warbond a special tittle for those who were born or destined for battles and war. They were born with the special physic. A body that is born from special bodies. Here things complicated a bit. So if I had to say what the system told me before I coming here was....."

A few hours or so ago,

The system screen looked at Arjun as he decided that he won't take any special loan or anything. At first system decided to send him here empty hand. But then system changed its mind and tell him everything.

[ Boss. If you don't want to buy anything from the list, then there is only one way. Although I didn't want to do this. But you leave me no choice.]

Arjun became sacred by that system's tone and asked in a broken voice, "Wh…wha..wha..What are you doing???"

[Congratulations! Here is a gauche for you.]

"Ha..ha..What??? You?? Weren't you trying to force me getting a loan or something.. like that?" Arjun said, although the longer he said the line, the lower his voice became.

[ WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! IT'S JUST A GAUCHE.]

[NOW ARE YOU PLAYING IT OR SHOULD I DO IT FOR YOU?]

By the voice of the system, arjun can tell that it was dangerous. So he shut his mouth and look at the gauche list.
