The originally pale skin of Hayato—though dirtied—started to shift subtly, showing streaks of a strange color. His once pitch-black eyes gradually took on a faint green tint.
"Oh? So this is the Bloodline Limit?" Danzo watched Hayato from a distance, observing every tiny change with keen interest. After all, he'd come here personally because of this. "Hope you don't disappoint me!"
Hayato's transformation happened fast. In the blink of an eye, the once frail-looking boy grew into a giant over two meters tall. His entire body bulged with green muscles, so thick and packed that just looking at them made it obvious he had immense power.
"Only just over two meters tall? Didn't they say he'd be over three meters?" Danzo frowned slightly, confused by the transformation. What he didn't know was that although Hayato was only a bit over two meters now, as his anger rose, his body would grow even bigger and his strength would become more and more savage.
"Roar!" With a furious shout, Hayato spread his arms wide, and with a loud snap, the ropes binding him all broke.
Seeing this, Danzo nodded slightly. The ropes were thick—thumb-sized cords—and there were plenty of them. For all of them to snap at once showed Hayato's strength was pretty impressive.
"Go! Grab him!" Danzo, satisfied, immediately ordered his men to seize Hayato.
But Hayato didn't care what Danzo thought. Right now, all he felt was anger. One single thought burned in his mind: to kill every single person in front of him.
His hatred for Danzo was especially fierce, so his first target was clear. With a shout, he stomped the ground with both massive feet, leaving two deep footprints, and charged straight at Danzo.
"Water Style: Water Wave!"
"Earth Style..."
The others didn't expect Hayato to attack Danzo first. To them, it made more sense for Hayato to run—facing such danger, the first instinct should be to escape, aiming for places with fewer or no enemies. But instead, he charged right at the strongest person there, Danzo, catching everyone off guard.
One by one, ninjutsu attacks slammed into Hayato. Weaker ones barely scratched him. Even the stronger attacks that did cause some damage barely slowed him down—and his wounds healed rapidly.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
To Danzo's surprise, Hayato crashed through one ninjutsu after another with sheer brute force, then reached him in no time.
This raw, reckless style of fighting shocked Danzo. It was the most savage battle method he'd ever seen—completely ignoring enemy attacks and still pressing on relentlessly.
Seeing Hayato suddenly right in front of him, Danzo's eyes flickered strangely. Raising his hand, he quickly cast a ninjutsu:
"Wind Style: Vacuum Slash!"
A sharp blade of wind shot from his mouth in a straight line, slicing deeply across Hayato's body. A long, bloody gash appeared from his shoulder down to his waist, blood spraying out fiercely.
This was the worst injury Hayato had suffered since turning into the Hulk. Danzo's skill was no joke—he'd clearly reached the level of an Anbu Captain (Kage-level), though not the strongest, but still far beyond the other jonins.
Most ninjas or anyone else would be knocked out or forced to stop fighting after such a wound. But not Hayato—he'd entered a rage-fueled berserk state. The more he got hurt, the angrier he became. Letting out a roar, his body began to grow even bigger right in midair, his fist swinging straight at Danzo without pulling back.
Danzo hadn't expected this. After taking damage, Hayato didn't back down but kept attacking. It was already too late for Danzo to prepare another ninjutsu, so he raised both hands in front of him to block the punch head-on.
Bam!
Hayato's fist slammed into Danzo's hands with a thunderous crash. The sound of bones cracking faintly echoed as Danzo was blasted backward.
Luckily for Danzo, his earlier attack had done some damage to Hayato, which slightly weakened the power behind that punch. So Hayato only unleashed about 60% of his strength, and still managed to send Danzo flying and injured.
If it had been the full force of a more-than-three-meter-tall Hulk, Danzo wouldn't have stood a chance.
